Sculpture Art

It has been a while since I have been able to put some time into my photography. It's been way too long since I posted my work! My dad and brother (dantoone.com, joshuatoone.com), as always, have been hard at work created new sculptures and here are some of the photographs that I have created from some of their more recent work.

Photography Challenge

In an effort to get the creative side of my brain working, I have decided to do a photo challenge and challenge myself to create new work on a fairly regular basis. Here are a couple that I have done so far.

3 Person Show

I am very excited share that I have the pleasure of joining my dad and brother in a 3 person show at the District Gallery in Park City! There will be an opening reception this Friday, August 5th from 5-8 PM. My dad and brother have some wonderful new pieces and I am honored to show my work with theirs. The show will run for 3 weeks. The Ranch

A couple of weekends ago we took a short road trip and on our way we stopped by an old ranch house to see what there was to photograph. I was pleasantly surprised! I had a great time finding so many different textures and lighting situations. I have been focusing lately so much on the sculptures that it was fun to just go and find what I could find and see what was there. Here are a few of my favorites.

Sculptures

As I was taking some pictures of some new work for my Dad and brother, I found some older pieces that I had not photographed. In some more recent work that I have done I have enjoyed adding to each to piece with work done after the image was taken. Here are some images from my last photo shoot.

Josh and Dan have been busy and I was able to do some more photography of their sculptures, please check out their websites to see the full sculptures. I was very pleased with how these turned out and these are not all that I photographed so stay tuned, more to come...

Shadows

During my last photo session with some sculptures I had fun with some more texture and shape when I caught a shadow from one of Josh's sculptures cast on a large piece of rusted steel. I am pretty excited about how they turned out! I was also really excited about some close ups I was able to  take of Dan and Josh's sculptures as well.
