blue_donkey and I walked on a beach in Wales yesterday. It was sooooo cold and it was the first time I have been at the seaside when it has been snowing but it was lovely.

I prefer to call it a choice than a resolution as I never manage to keep to those. Last night I gave up chocolate in my attempt to drop a dress size and get fitter and healthy ready for our holiday in May. Yes I am finally getting out of Europe and blue_donkey and I are going to Peru. Whilst we are there we will be walking the inca trail hence me needing to get more fit.

Tonight we went out for a meal in the pub in my village and I had a couple of glasses of white wine. As I no longer tend to drink white wine it went to my head. I was feeling very mischievous and could not resist hopping over a low fence in order to walk over someones lawn and lave footprints in the snow. My Aunt and Uncle thought it was very funny but my teenage daughters told me off............I struggled to get back over fence on my way back from my naughty deed.

blue_donkey was stuffing a bird into the boot of his car ready for Christmas........he informs me it used to be of the feathered variety. I guess I will find out on Christmas Eve when we turn up at his. Tomorrow evening Donkey and I are off to friends to a Mulled wine evening, there are lots of lovely gardens near their house and I wonder if I could stomp over their lawns and leave pretty little patterns.

I think it should be compulsory that at least one happy news story is covered in every news programme.

About a year or more ago blue_donkey helped me choose a pair of shoes. I have to say he choose very well. However these shoes are extremly high and having worn them two days running my feet are really aching tonight.

The things we do to try to look good.

Why is it that when you have to get up early the next morning you can't sleep :-(

Politics. I know I should be interested in it and I do try but I find it boring. I do however vote as I feel it is my right to do so especially after the Suffragettes fought to allow women to vote.

Today whilst working at the County Show the Independent party came to talk to a colleague and myself. My colleague laughed so much after he had gone because I told him I found it quite irritating when parties come round at tea-time or when I have just got home from work.

Oh well another few days and it will be over until the next election :-)

blue_donkey and I went to see the new film with friends and it was great. I will not write any spoiler here. If you want to know what it was like GO AND SEE IT!
