As time goes by...

Hard to believe that the summer is half-way over. I hate to say it (or even think it), I go back to school in less than a month. That is C-razy! Where has the summer gone? Emma and I have been busy enjoying the sunshine. Although we could have done without some of it this past week...it was all kinds of hot this week. Unbearably hot....legs stick together hot...fry an egg on pavement hot.....just plain H-O-T! Here are some pics of what we have been up to so far this summer.

Yeah...I know that the background is still Christmas on this blog and I haven't posted in like MONTHS, but let's face it...I am scrambling to get all the things done that I need to get done: spending time with my darling TWO year old and terribly handsome hubby, lesson planning, grad school work, wife-y business (ie. laundry, dishes, cooking), land-lot buying, and house planning....ARGHHH! Just wanted to let you know that we ARE alive and kickin'. We will catch up again maybe sometime this summer. Loves ya!

So Thankful

What a joy it was to have a day off. I enjoyed spending the day with my little doodlebug. We played and attempted to take a Christmas card photo. This isn't the chosen one, but I thought it was pretty darn cute! Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! We all have SO much to be thankful for!
