ms. neaves

doesn't it frustrate you that you can't read into my life?
you've got to go through my friends' journals for goss on me because you know you'll never be on my friends list again?
it makes me smile
that you have to be so low to cause problems in my life
and you've not changed a bit
... you told me to never change (i still have the sms you sent from her phone, though the sim card expired)...
then you tell me that i haven't changed, and that you have

makes sense doesn't it?

would you mind growing up and actually doing what you say you will? grow up, or shut up and get out of my life, you lowlife excuse for a human

If I have removed you from my friends list, please do the same.
This is another request.

LiveJournal Etiquette (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=etiquette)

A lesson in what shits me most about peoples' LiveJournals.

What to do:
  • Write things as you'd say them. I can't stress this any more. Things become so open to interpretation. If someone doesn't understand what you're saying, you're missing out on a number of points.

  • Use punctuation. Apostrophes, capitalisation, commas, full stops and paragraphs. If you can't spell something, use this or use a livejournal client's spell checker.

  • Use the correct spelling of a word for the situation. For example:

    • You're is not spelt your. There's a difference between bear and bare

    • We've gone to far doesn't pass for very much.

  • Read the LJ FAQs if you have a problem

  • Use <lj-cut> for long posts, or large images (well, anything over ~30kb). Not everyone has the luxury of being on a fast internet connection, and the size of these images can be a major cause of lag.

What not to do:
  • Go overboard on your lj layout. Not everyone wants to see an utterly awful bright pink and green recent posts page, or something unreadable, because it's dark on dark or light on light (e.g. dark red on black, bright yellow on fluoro green). The KISS rule applies here - Keep it simple stupid!

  • Modify the font of your journal, because you don't realise that the default font for your recent posts and friends view pages can easily be modified here.

  • Use alternate case throughout your entire post. ThIs Is JuSt pLaIn UgLy, no matter which way you look at it.

    • Use full words:

    • dis is spelt this;

    • dat is spelt that;

    • lyk is spelt like; and

    • wif is spelt with
  • Go overboard on formatting. e.g. bold, italic, underline, colour. Only use it where necessary.

  • Use the <small> tag through an entire post - if a person's lj friends list default font size is small, this can become unreadable, and they might not even bother reading your post.

  • Use flashing/scrolling text, ugly mood themes, animated gifs or anything else that could easily shit people. Blinkies are not cool, nor cute.

  • Post >~3-4 times in a day. You're taking up valuable friends' page space

I should really say don't whinge like fuck in every post about every little pathetic detail of your life. But I won't.

Can you see what I see?
No I don’t think you can
I see images of nothing
and I attempt to make that
nothingness mean something

As hard as I try there is
still nothing and that nothing
is meaningless

I am somewhere else now, outside
I am surrounded by people and
the sky. I see the people and the
blueness of the sky

but still nothing has changed
everything remains the same
I am still alone.
