I was in the commercial power equipment business for over 58 years. The key is to find a good local dealer and to purchase the products there. Then you have a local service that stands behind the product. Very important.

I’ll still be alternating between my 48 and 51 year old Lawn-Boys. Why mess with a good thing?

My main mower has been a Cub Cadet Zero Turn that I have had for about ten years now. I recently purchased an antique Economy/Power King 1618 tractor that has a sixty inch deck. The deck seems to be in really good condition. I may try mowing with the PK this year. The Cub Cadet has a forty eight inch deck. I will do my yearly maintenance on then Cub Cadet just to have it ready to use. My yearly maintenance is oil and filter change, new air cleaner and gas filter, new belts, new blades and general cleaning and checking parts of the deck and replacing whatever is necessary.

Had it since 1991 got it from my old neighbor that bought it new in 1957. i've went through three or four engines. I've restored it a couple of times it doesn't care if the grass is wet or 6 foot tall, it walks through it the same way no bogging down.I don't think I will ever buy a new mower.

I have a 2019 TROY BILT Riding Lawnmower as well as a 2020 TROY BILT push mower that I'm planning to keep as long as I possibly can. They both run and mow great in my opinion!!
