Christmas Time!

We celebrated Christmas this morning becasue of Scott's work schedule. Poor guy has to work Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, so today was really our only chance. So last night we got cookies ready for Santa and sprinkled special reindeer food in our front yard that Jackson made. He was so excited! And loved helping everyone open their presents.   Jackson got some cool G.I Joe guys. I don't think he's ever seen G.I. Joe, but he sure is in love with the toys, and Josh got Thomas the Train stuff, which he's been obsessed with the past couple months. Christmas with kids is just so much fun!! And lucky for them, they still have even more Christmases with Grandmas, and Grandpas!

I can't forget to mention that I have the coolest husband on the face of this earth.  We have been needing to get  new camera and we talked about buying a nice one, but decided to wait it out till next year because they are so expensive.  Well...I opened my gift from him, and almost cried!!  He got me a Nikon D90!  I am so excited and was secretly hoping to get one.  I have been playing around with it all morning trying to get it all figured out and can't wait till I can start getting creative with it. I love my husband! He is the BEST!!  Hope everyone else has a wonderful Christmas too!

My little man turned 4!

Image
Four years ago, on November18, 2005, I went to the hospital to be induced because the Dr feared my little baby would be to big if I waited for him to come naturally.  After 20 hours of labor, I was rushed in for an emergency c-section, and on November 19 at 2:24pm out came my beautiful baby boy Jackson James. It's hard to believe it has been 4 years!  We celebrated his birthday yesterday, and will be having a party with all are family on the 24th at Chuck E. Cheese.

OH BOY, OH BOY!!

Here we go again! Looks like will be welcoming another boy into the Forsyth Fam.  I should have expected it, but with this pregnancy being so much different than the previous two, I thought for sure we were expecting a girl this time around. I will admit, I was little disappointed and have kind of been in a funny mood all day today. I was so excited to go out and pick out baby girl outfits, and get started on a girl quilt, and decorate a girl nursery, but that's not going to be happening any time soon.  There is always a chance the ultrasound was wrong, but this DEFINITELY is a boy!  I know I probably don't seem it, but I am very happy to be bringing another boy into our family, and obviously there is a reason God wanted us to have him.  So I am thankful for that. Everything seemed to look fine in the ultrasound, although, the ultrasound tech (or whatever she is) was having a hard time getting a good image of his heart because he was moving around so much. There was a moment when she was examining it, and got this really weird look on her face, like something wasn't right.  After the ultrasound, Scott asked if everything looked good, and she said "I am not allowed to diagnose anything".  So now I am really worried that there is something wrong with him. And I have to wait till I see my Dr. again till I can know anything. I may just be being paranoid, Scott thinks I am, but seriously...if you work has an ultrasound tech, be professional about your job, and please don't make weird faces while your examining someone's unborn child!! I really do hope everything is fine, but I know I am going to be worrying, and thinking about it till I know for sure. Ugh.

Boy or Girl?

Tomorrow is the BIG DAY!! We have are ultrasound at 8:30 tomorrow morning, and I am so nervous/ excited to find out what it is growing inside of me.  If it's another boy, it's going to take some serious mental preparation to have a third running around, they are just so crazy!! :) And if it's a girl, well, that means some serious shopping, which I would LOVE to do! But no matter what it is, I am going to be totally excited! I just want to know...NOW!!:) Check back tomorrow for the big news!

I Love Fall!

Image
On Saturday Scott & I took the boys to the pumpkin patch at Country Mercantile, and to be honest, it wasn't as cool as I thought it would be. There was some ride, and bounce houses along with the corn maze and haystack pyrimad thing which would have been really fun, but after paying $21.00 just to get in, we didn't bring enough cash to pay for any of the ride.  It was like $4 just to ride the stupid carousel! So, Jackson was rather disappointed that he didn't get to go on the rides.  He did have fun in the maze, and climbing the haystack though, and Josh loved the animals. And the weather was perfect!!

So far, we have been pretty busy this fall.  Scott is one of the coaches for the undefeated Connell Eagles. He has really been enjoying it, but with that and working 6 days a week he isn't around too much.  Meanwhile, I've been busy working on the house, repainting the inside (not fun with 2 kids running around) and doing yard work.  Last week we got underground sprinklers put in and tomorrow the sod is coming for our backyard.  I am so excited to finally have a nice yard!  There is still so much work to be done though.  Hopefully we can finish while the weather is still nice.   Does this Fall weather make anyone else feel like they can go out and run a marathon? :) I love it!!

14 1/2 weeks

I went to my Drs. appointment today expecting just to be able to hear my baby's heartbeat and find out I get to have a free 3D ultrasound too. This is the 2nd free ultrasound I have gotten so far. The office that I am at is in the process of purchasing new equipment, and lucky me, I've been able to help them test it out! The baby is still really small, being just 14 1/2 weeks, and so the images aren't as good as some 3D ultrasound pictures I've seen, but they still look pretty good. I tried to scan them but my scanner isn't working:(. It was really fun to see the baby, it was snuggled up with it's head buried into my placenta like it was using it as a big pillow. Every once in a while it would turn its head towards us. I think it was afraid. :)
I'm still wondering, if it hadn't been hiding, if it would have been too soon to tell the sex? That would have been fun, but I only have one more month to wait! What do you think it will be?
Other pregnancy news, the morning sickness is gone:) and I am feeling great! I have finally been able to start working out, and while I am extremely sore from an almost 2 month break of not lifting, it feels so good. My goal this pregnancy is to gain under 30lbs. I don't know if that's a realistic goal, since I tend to put on a lot of wt, but I am going to try my hardest! At 14 1/2 weeks I still weight less than I did with Josh at my 10 week, so that's good. :)

Things don't always go as planned

Over the past several months, I worked my booty off, and was in almost the best shape of my life. I was hoping to enjoy my “new” body for a while, and had planned on competing in my first figure show after Tri-Fitness, that is now less than 2 weeks away. But instead, I’ve been enjoying exhaustion, nausea, and an expanding waistline. Oh Joy!
A couple weeks after I got home from Vegas, I could not figure out why I was so tired…I could barely get myself into the gym. I really thought I just wore my body out from dieting and exercising so hard. But no, there was a little bean growing inside of me. So, now I am 11, going on 12 weeks, and hopefully close to the end of being sick. I am actually quite terrified right now to know that I am going to be a mother of THREE in not too long. Jackson and Josh are 26 months apart, and Jackson had a really hard time adjusting when Josh came, and now Josh and this one will also be 26 months apart. My plan was to have a little bigger age gap this next time around, but looks like that didn’t happen. Oh well!

My 1st Tri Fitness

Las Vegas was a blast! That was my first time ever being there, and I loved it! The Tri Fitness competition went very well, and I will definately be doing it again one day.
Image Here I am waiting for the bikini round to take place. I know that its immodest for me to put this up, but I worked hard for it, and it is proof that a mother of 2 can still look good:)
ImageThis is my beautiful, amazing older sister. She placed 1st overall in the bikini part for the 2nd year in a row. She definately deserved it!!

Image This is Jackie & I before our fitness routines, she did hers to Micheal Jackson, and mine was a 60's theme to Soul Bossa Nova (from Austin Powers)

ImageAfter Awards, Jackie with her 1st place trophie. She also got 8th overall for all events combined and 12th on her fitness routine. I ended up getting 13th overall for all events combines, and 10th on my fitness routine

My crazy boys!

My sweet, adorable little 17 month old figured out how to open a bottle of nail polish this morning. I was trying to finish up a craft project when I smelled it. My first thought, of course, was that Jackson found it and was attempting to paint his nails, but no, it was Josh! It was all over him and all over the wood floors. Luckily, for once in my life, I actually had nail polish remover. So I have been scrubbing the floor all morning, how fun! Now both boys are in Jacksons room ripping their clothes out of the dresser and taking out the drawers...and I'm just going to ignore it and pretend it's not happening, because I am already stressed out enough, I am going to try not to add to it!:)
Other news, I leave for Vegas in less that a week. I am so nervous, and not just for the competition, but to leave my boys! Is it sad that I have never been away from them before? Luckily Scotts amazing mother will be coming to help him out while I'm gone. I hope they don't drive her crazy!:)

Family Update...Finally!

It has been far too long since my last post! I think it's been almost 2 months without a computer, Jackson was swinging around a cord that hit our laptop and destroyed the screen, thank you child! We still don't have a computer but I just figured out how to do a post from my iPhone :).
Life in Connell is going good! Scott is still enjoying his job and I am still enjoying the life of a stay at home mom...most of the time:). Scott's work is putting on a Biggest Loser contest starting next week that he will be taking apart of. I'm so excited for him and glad that I will no longer be the only one in the house eating like a crazy health freak! I am still training for my fitness competition, and have only 5 1/2 weeks to go. I have lost 12 lbs so far and finally back down to my high school weight, which is exciting! It has been tough, being on a reduced calorie diet and workng out like a mad women has not brought out the best of me. I am like a ticking time bomb...and the littlest things will set me off...like when Scott steals the last jello (the only treat i am allowed) from the frigde. Not good LOL! Luckily he has gone through this before when he did his bodybuilding diet and was the exact same way, so he's very understanding and tolerant with my constant PMS. Wow I really hope I'm not as bad as I just explained myself to be!
Anyway, Jackson and Joshua are doing great! They are wild and crazy every second of the day! They are finally playing together which is so cute and when Josh is upset Jackson always plays peek-a-boo to get him laughing again. Jackson gave his very 1st talk in Primary a few weeks ago. It was the most precious thing, he did such a great job! I feel so blessed that my kids get to grow up in the church:).
We had our 1st family vacation in a very long time over Memorial Day Weekend. We went down to Seattle with Scotts family, went to the Mariners vs Giants game, took the boys to the zoo, went swimming, shopping, etc. It was so nice to get away for the weekend! And Scott's family is always so much fun to vacation with. Hopefully we'll get a chance to do something fun again soon. I have tons of pictures I want to post, but can't because we have no computer:(. Hopefully soon!

I have 14 more, weeks to go, I have been dieting for just one week and it is so hard ( I have an addiction to sugar!:)) Jackie will be flying down from Japan to compete also, and I am so exctied! I can't wait to see what my body is going to look like after 15lbs of fat gone! Hopefully I will look like this....
ImageMy beautiful older sister!! Hey, maybe they'll put me on the cover of Oxygen too!! HAHA jk! But I can deam!:)

So here is finally some pics of our new house!

Image This is the monkey bathroom...the boy's bathroom...I love monkeys!:)
Jackson was sitting on the toliet one day, looks at me and says "I don't want the monkey's looking at me when I go potty," lol, kids are too cute!
Anyways, there is still tons we want to do, when we have some extra $$, but we love it so far and suprisingly love living in Connell. I am working part time and the jr. high with 7th & 8th graders, and it has been so nice to get out of the house a couple hours every day! Scott is still working at the prison and made their SERT team, which is basically like the prison SWAT team. He was the only one the make them team out of the poeple who tried out...he is amazing isn't he? :)

This is what I come home to...

Image
Image

Image I was at the gym for maybe 40 minutes, and was home by 5:30. Sometimes I wish I had a nanny cam to see exactly what it is my husband does when he's at home with the kids.
