Owen's One!!

 Owen turing on last month on July 23rd! Time flies!! He is seriously the best baby we've had. He has been so easy going, he rarely ever cries, and he got that same silly cute personality that Andrew has.  He is so much fun! Happy Birthday little man!!

Once again it has been far too long since I have updated our blog and lots has happened! Unfortunately I don't any pictures to share.  Just a couple days ago my phone tweaked out on me and all my pictures and videos of the boys from the last 4 months are gone! :( I'm so sad! There was a lot of good stuff on that stupid phone!
Anyway, sometime around May (i think) Jackson finally learned how to ride his bike without training wheels.  He could have done it a long time ago, but he's one of those kids who like to do it when HE'S ready to do it.  He got on his bike up on a hill, rode down the hill, off the curb and onto the road, and he was off riding like a pro... didn't need one bit of help! Then 2 weeks later, Jackson teaches Josh to ride his bike without training wheels.  I thought he was joking, but sure enough, I go outside and Josh is riding his bike too! (This is one video I am very sad I lost!)
Andrew is growing like crazy, and is so super smart.  He talks incredibly well, and is hilarious. Everyone loves him, and he loves everyone!
Owen now has 6 teeth, working on his seventh, he's been walking since around the end of May I think.    He had his 1st Birthday in July (which I actually do have pictures for because I took them on my nice camera, I'll share later).  His personality is a lot like Andrew's and is almost always happy with a big smile of his face.  It is seriously such a joy have four boys! I love it!!
Scott got a new job.  We have been unemployed all summer long, and it has been tough.  But we are super excited for him and his new adventure.  He is now working at Connell High School as a history/PE teacher.  Scott is an amazing teacher and I really think he's going to enjoy this new job!
And last but not least, we will be welcoming our 5th and most likely final baby into the world around February 2013! We are very excited and hoping for one last boy! We'll find out next month! :)

family update!

Wresting started in February and we survived another season! 

Jackson has improved so much this year, and I know next year will be even better.

He won his first medal this year.  He was so excited! 

 In March, we celebrated Andrew's second birthday! I can't believe how big his getting! 

He has such a funny personality.  He is talking more and more everyday and its so fun to hear him say new words.

Owen also turned 8 months on Andrew's Birthday. He's been crawling since before 6 months, pulling himself up before 7 months, and 8 months brought on his first tooth with another on the way! 

April 7th was Scott's 27th Birthday! We were able to go out to dinner to Texas Roadhouse, which was delicious and we also got to go watch the Hunger Games! It was so much fun to have some alone time together.  It doesn't happen very often!  Scott also got what he's been dying for for months...an Ipad! I told him I'd crochet him one... but that obviously wasn't good  enough:)

January Update

Joshua turned 4 on the 24th of January!! Joshua is such a sweet little guy most of the time.  He is very shy, and quiet most of the time.  He loves playing by himself, doing he own thing.  He also, does have a big temper on him, and Jackson always knows what to do to get him going unfortunately.   

 My most favorite thing about Josh is his kind little heart.  He has a true concern for the well being of others, at it is so weird/amazing to see at such a young age.  It comes out the most with Owen.  He loves Owen.  I've never seen a little boy so into a baby as he is to Owen.  Ever since Owen was a newborn, he'd just go and sit by him to make sure everything is ok.  He plays with him, gives him kisses all the time.  And of course, Owen always lights up when he sees him! It's so sweet!

For his Birthday we just had a little party at home.  I made him an airplane cake and we got him a couple cool toy airplanes. 

Also in January Owen turned 6 months.  We have had his 6 month doctors visit yet due to lack of insurance at the moment but I weighed him on our scale at home at he was about 17.4 lbs.  Still smaller an Andrew was at 4 months!  Owen is sitting up, and crawling, but still prefers the army crawl because he has gotten pretty dang good at it!  He is a strong little booger! :)

Tis' the Season!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! 

For Christmas Eve Scott and I were able to go to the 49ers vs Seahawks game Thanks to the father of one of Scott's players he coaches who gave us the tickets.  It was my first NFL game.  We had so much fun! Then we headed back home after the game and stayed the night with at my dads house to celebrate Christmas. The best present we got was the Xbox Kinect Scott got for our family.  It was been a blast!

State Champs!

Scott has been coaching football at Connell High School for the past 3 years, and the past they've made it to State, playing the same team all 3 times.  The first year they won, and the second year they lost, so it was awesome to see them dominate this year 28-7.
My little Sis made the trip with me along with Andrew and Owen while the older boys stayed with Grandpa.  We had a blast!

Novemeber

The month of November was full of wonderful occasions, the first being Owen baby blessing!  Scott did a wonderful job, as he always has.

Then we celebrated Jackson's 6th Birthday! We took cupcakes to his Kindergarten class and then the next day we did just a small birthday party at Grandma Roddie's & Grandpa Gordy's. 

Jackson was even lucky enough to get snow on his birthday and made an awesome snowman all by himself!

Next, Owen turned 4 months! He was 15 lbs 4 oz, and 25 1/4 in at his 4 month check up! He is the smallest of all my babies at this age, but of course, just as cute!! :)

We finished off the month with a wonderful Thanksgiving at Scott's aunts and uncles house! It was a lot of fun to gather everyone together, and the best part was having Carrie, Scott's sister who lives in Norway, and her sweet little son Nathan there.
