Just a couple of photos...

Life has been busy with a new position at work, school full time, two girls to keep up with, and just life in general.  I'm so looking forward to the holidays!!

My little Madi bug is able to sit up! She's 6 months old and growing oh so quickly. She has the best heart melting smiles. :)

Bayley and her outfit that centered around her pink sparkly belt. :) Those are skinny jeans, by the way, and are still not "skinny" on her. My sweet little beanpole. :)

New job, new baby

While I was on maternity leave with Madison, I was promoted at work. Pretty cool, huh?  It has been pretty strange coming back to work at a new desk with new responsibilities. Thankfully, I'm just one desk over from my old position.

Madi is 3 months old and a happy little girl.  She loves to smile and make lots of fun noises. She's my little chunky monkey too... she has cute little fat rolls on her legs that Bayley never had. She eats every 3-4 hours during the day and then sleeps through the night. Yay! She eats 4 oz, usually, but occasionally 6.

Bayley is a FABULOUS big sissy. She loves on Madi and hasn't shown any jealousy yet. And no regression. I'm a blessed girl. Bayley is a constant source of entertainment, as she is always saying something really funny. The other morning we got to sleep in a little before we had to go to work and preschool...and she came to me, covered in marker. We normally confiscate markers but these slipped past me. Ooops. I wasn't mad, despite the look on her face; instead, I was thankful she chose herself as the canvas instead of the walls or furniture.  I got a good laugh and then let her soak in the bathtub for half an hour before it all came off. Made me late for work, but totally made my day. I get the giggles everytime I see this photo. I'm saving it for her senior yearbook. haha!

And baby makes 3 (kids, that is)

Sorry for the lack of posting. I have gotten out of blogging mainly because I'm lazy and I'm not sure if anyone reads anymore.  Then I got a few emails from people asking for updates...obviously you are not a FB friend or you'd see a TON of stuff about my kids. But hey, if you don't want to be FB buddies, I'm okay with that, too. :)
I just looked at the last photo of me at 3 weeks and HOLY COW. I was huge! I ended up gaining only 10 lbs and was 12 lbs lighter than my pre-pregnancy weight at my 6 week checkup. Pretty amazing.
Since having Madi, I am so tired. All. the. time.  What was I thinking? Having a 4 year old then starting back over with a newborn?! My advice to parents: don't let too much time pass between kids, because you get used to the semi-self-sufficient kid you already have...then starting over is a LOT harder. Mine are 4 years apart and we'd been trying since Bayley was 2. I just turned 35, so we're not planning on any more kids. I'd have loved to have had two more, but the risk for birth defects goes up significantly at 35 and I just don't feel as young as I used to. And we definitely need a bigger house. 1200 sqft with 3 bedrooms is just not enough for a boy and 2 girls.  Z is not at our house very much, but when he is, it is a tight fit. We can't afford to get a bigger house for several more years and we definitely cannot afford child care for another baby after Madi. We got lucky and a friend begged to keep Madi for us, who has agreed to watch her for significantly less than what daycare charges.  Very thankful for her. She's amazing and adores Madi. It has worked out fantastically.
Madi has blonde hair and very blue (almost purple) eyes. She's fair skinned and I can't help but wonder whose baby she is with the blonde hair.  Turns out, Joe and I both had blonde or blondish hair at birth. Whew!  She was 7lbs, 6oz and 20 inches long.  She is a little chunky monkey, compared to what Bayley was.  Madi is VERY demanding when it comes to food. She has NO patience and therefore never latched on. I'm still pumping but now she mainly gets formula.  More on that later.

I'll blab more later if anyone is interested, but here is a photo (which is what everyone wants to see anyway)...

Not sure why it's turning it sideways; sorry about that!

Z will be 10 next week. Bayley is 4. And Madison is 8 weeks as of this past Saturday, the 2nd.

30 weeks

Not much is new with me. Just tired. Third trimester and all I want to do it sleep. I cry a lot. That's about it.

I'm in school full time (12 hours) and still working full time, so not a lot of time left in the day. I don't know if anyone even still reads this blog... so I don't really feel like I should ever update it.

If people still read, I'll take a 30 week prego shot and post.

21 weeks

I'm just over the halfway mark at 21 weeks. Not much to report, really. Just the achiness of the loosening of joints, baby girl kicks in my belly, and psiatic nerve pain that is literally a pain in my butt.

I wish I was more exciting, but I'm really not. :)
