Let's Mow the Lawn

As I was preparing to go for a little jog the other day, Bronson noticed I was changing into my workout clothes, which look very similar to my outdoor working clothes. He was under the impression that I was going to mow the lawn. The next thing I knew he was excited and asking, "Mow wawn?" then it seemed to quickly progress as follows. "Put on Bronson shoes?" "Come on Daddy!", "Back Pack!". And before I could do anything, he had gone into the closet and pulled out the backpack I put him in while I mow the lawn. Well so much for my jog, who can say no to someone like that. Needless to say, Bronson likes to help me mow the lawn. And I enjoy having his help.

Tenley-ism

Our funny little Tenley. The other day out of the blue:
Tenley: "People who use rugrats die."
Me: "What? Rugrats? Die? What?"
Tenley: "Yes, when people use rugrats, they die."

It took me a minute to figure out what she was talking about. Then I saw a woman smoking a few feet away and made the connection.

Me: "Oooooh, you mean cigarettes. Yes, you're right. Cigarettes are not good."
Tenley: No Mommy, you've got it wrong. It's RUGRATS.

I stand corrected. :)
