O Christmas tree

The first Monday in December we put up our Christmas tree for FHE as is our tradition.  We talk to the kids about the true meaning of Christmas and then we put it up. 

I think this was actually from a different day but I think it is a cute pic of Summer

There it is.  Kind of pathetic.  Can't even hold up the tree top.  One of these days we will get a better one.

Thanksgiving pictures

Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving.  I already blogged about Thanksgiving but we didn't have our computer at the time so I didn't get the pictures posted.  You can read that post here.  We only took a couple of pictures and got none of the boys.  Not sure why.  I wasn't feeling very well so that might be why, I was kind of out of it.

The next weekend Karl's mom was going to come and spend the weekend with us so we went to get her.  While we were there we all went bowling.

After bowling we went and had dinner at the BYU creamery and then headed home.  The kids loved having Grandma sleep over.  She came on a Saturday and went to church with us the next day.  The kids were practicing for the primary program so she got to watch the practice since she wouldn't be there the next week.  After church Karl's brothers and families came over for dinner.

Monday morning Karl drove his mother to the airport.  It was a fun weekend!
