House For Sale.....House Sold

So I am going to have to jump around a bit as we got both a new phone and a new computer in spring of 2017 so our pictures are a bit scattered.  I need to figure out where everything is. 
With Karl's new job and our family growing, we decided it was time to put the house on the market.  So we spent most of February and a lot of March painting, repairing, cleaning and getting the house ready to sell.  My sister Cindy helped stage it and it turned out  super cute!

On the first day on the market, we had 11 showings and 3 offers.  We ended up with a contract on it in less than 24 hours. 

Matthew's 13th birthday

Matthew turned 13 in Feb 2017.  Yea I am over a year behind as he is now 14.  Getting there though!
For his birthday he wanted to go to dinner at Golden Corral.  However, once we got there it was very crowded so we decided to go to Texas Roadhouse instead.  He liked getting to sit on the saddle and be sung to.

 His bday was on Monday.  We celebrated with our extended at Sunday dinner at my parents' house because he and my dad share a birthday.

 In lieu of a birthday cake (he isn't a fan) he chose swiss cake rolls and my dad chose pie.

We did his presents on Monday, his actual birthday along with root beer floats

Just a great kid.  We sure love having him in our family!

Also in February Karl and I went to our stake's Valentine's dance.  Kind of a fun thing to do that is different for us.  Fun to relive our BYU days.
