My name is Stacie and I live in Northwest Indiana. I am in my mid-twenties and have been married since 2005 to my wonderful husband. We now have a little one on the way, coming March 2010, which will most likely prevent me from posting as much as I would like too…or maybe not!
I have been working at a law firm as a legal assistant for the last 4 years and worked downtown Chicago at an engineering firm for two years previously.
I love to bake and try out different recipes. I don’t mind cooking, but don’t enjoy it as much. I also like to scrapbook, work on my photography skills, workout and I really enjoy relaxing with a good book.
If you have any questions about the recipes I post on my blog, please feel free to e-mail me at stacielk@gmail.com.
Thanks for visiting and I always love reading comments from my readers!

sounds good
Hey Stacie,
This is the first blog I’ve been to. Nice job, although as you know I’m not into cooking or baking, only grilling.
Have fun with it.

Great job with the blog! I love reading the recipes and the comments, the pictures really complete it!

I am the creator of Lisa’s B52 Chocolate shots. It was great to find them on your blog. You did a nice job on the homemade cordial cups. Thanks for trying the recipe!

Hi Stacie! When your mom said you loved baking, she was not kidding! I’m looking forward to trying a couple of your simpler recipes for my family. Fun to see you last week!

Your mom-in-law sent me the link to your blog and it looks great. I love to cook and I’m always looking for “real people” recipes. Of course, my kids don’t always share my opinions about what tastes good. (Enjoy your kid-free meals now!!) I’m looking forward to trying the corn salad this summer and, if I’m feeling really adventurous, the grilled pizza. Thanks for sharing your recipes! (By the way, your pictures look great.)

Hello,
I read your recipe on Mummy Deals. Your recipes look great can’t wait to try one.
Thank you,

Hi Stacie, Your blog is off the chart. Great work!!! And now I was wondering if you know of a great recipe for homemade hot chocolate mix. Dry ingredience only. Rachel, Suzannie, and I are going to make hot chocolate mixes in jars for presents for my precious grandkids’ teachers, etc. Who knows, you might even get one from us. We are going to put them together this weekend or the next. Thanks!

Hi Stacie! I received an email from your blog that you had a new posting RIGHT as I had finished cleaning up from my very first attempt at Chicken and Dumplings. Blake (our 14 year old) had requested them and as a freshman in HS, he had two big exams tomorrow. I thought it was a perfect night to try a new recipe and make a requested dinner for a break from studying. I think I did OK–but, would love advice from you! I used Mary B’s dumplings and a recipe I got off the internet. Have you made this before? Because Blake LOVED my dinner, and ate soo much, but truthfully, I know it could have been better. :) What is your favorite recipe for chicken and dumplings?
