Shake it up Baby...

A few weeks ago, Hudson learned how to say no. Not the actual word but he shakes his head. For example, I say, "Hudson, don't eat the doggies food." Then he shakes his head at me. And then slowly reaches for the bowl again with a big grin on his face. He is so mischievous. Silly kid.

11 months

Hudson turned 11 months yesterday! He loves to chase and hug his doggie and wave bye-bye to his daddy when he leaves for work. He loves to climb. He climbs up the stepladder to get to the stuff on the counter and climbed up into his highchair. He is a daredevil! He loves to feed himself and drop food for Timber. He can stand for a few seconds alone and can walk behind something he's pushing. He pushes his little cars around the floor and dances to music. He holds his phone (or mommys or daddys or the remote) up to his ear to "talk". I have even caught him saying "oh?" a couple times instead of "hello?" He loves to pull things out of drawers. He is super sweet and I love him to pieces!

Happy 10 months Hudson!

Hudson is 10 months old today and is cuter than ever! He has eight teeth, crawls everywhere, and likes to get into things especially the kitchen drawers and the doggie's food. He pulls himself up on anything that will support his weight including Timber. He loves to splash in his bath and be thrown in the air. He says Mama; usually when he's upset because I haven't picked him up fast enough. He LOVES to eat. He weighs 19 pounds and has plenty of chunk. I love him more than I can tell.

I finally got one of these beauties on camera! What a wonderful day!

My 1st Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day! Khyl was so sweet! He got me these beautiful sunshine roses, a sweet card that made me cry and pitched in with my sisters to buy me a dvd player for the nursery. And he tricked me the whole time telling me he only got me something small-which would have been just fine too of course. :)

And the whole reason for the occasion- I love mommy- how sweet!

Nursery...finally finished

Here are the pictures of the finished nursery. I finally got my chair (after 3 months of waiting!) and tada! The cutest nursery ever!

This is the organizer I made to match the bedding set I also made. Cambria gave Hudson this giraffe on the day he was born- it's his first stuffed animal.

A picture of mommy and daddy, a couple of canvases I painted and my mother's day present- a dvd player. Turns out nursing is not the most entertaining business.

The crib. I made the bedding and Khyl helped me cut out and paint the letters.

The comfy chair that I got for my birthday. It finally arrived on April 4th- my birthday is in December!

And the changing table/dresser. This nursery was a ton of work but is now officially the cutest room in the house!

Hudson's 1 month

And he was the sweetest 1 month old ever all dressed up in his church duds! So handsome!
