Sunrise at Eternity Beach

Another tiny and very quick little bird!!

I am not an avid bird stalker although on my recent trip to the Big Island we did spend several hours waiting for the cute teeny tiny Hawaiian Birds to make an appearance. They are super quick not staying at any one flower for long. It was an experience!!!

Onomea Falls

Onomea Bay and the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden near Hilo. It is a must see if you are near Hilo. Amazingly beautiful.

Big Island Petroglyphs and Lava Tube

We climbed down into the lava tube were we could easily walk around.. (when I wasn't tripping over the loose rocks). Set up our tripods in the far back area of the tube. It was amazingly flat with a nice shelf for our gear. What a bonus!!

The Petroglyphs were located near the entrance to the Lava Tube.
