Merry Christmas

Christmas seemed to come and go so fast this year!

Our holiday started off on Christmas Eve at Patrick's mom's house where we had a nice turkey lunch, and then opened presents and played games. The kids weren't too happy that all the snow had melted so we couldn't go sledding at the park.

Christmas morning the kids (Payten) woke up at 7:30 so excited to see that Santa had in fact come and left presents.

After we finished at our house and rested some we headed up to my parents and had yet another delicious lunch, opened presents and played more games.

I had scheduled Lilly to have her hair trimmed, and the night before she said she wanted it short. I asked her again if she was sure that 's what she wanted and she kept insisting she wanted it short. So since she had enough to donate we let her get it cut.

Thanksgiving

This year we stayed home for Thanksgiving. First we stopped by my parents and enjoyed the food, pies and games!

After we were done at my parents we headed over to Patrick's mom's for more food and pies! Patrick ended up going to see Harry Potter with some of his sisters and brother, and P and L had a sleepover at their cousins. At 2:30am I went shopping with Meghan R. we didn't get any of the stuff we wanted to, but we did get some other stuff. It was a great Thanksgiving and we can't wait for Christmas!

On the 28th of October we had Kaitlynn's 2nd birthday.

A few weeks ago a couple families in the neighborhood got together and raked up some leaves to jump in. We also enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies.

Halloween 2010

Halloween this year was wet and cold!

We went to our neighborhoods trunk-or-treat and then up to my parents trunk-or-treat. The kids got lots of candy and Payten wasn't impressed with the trunk or treating he wanted to know when we were going 'real' trick-or-treating!

People have asked who Preston looks like, and well he looks just like Payten did with just one difference their head shape, it's enough that you can tell when looking at baby pics but they still look so similar! I'll have to find some better pics where they look more alike, but this is what I have for now.

4 months old!

My baby is 4 months old!

He is a great smiler and is getting better at laughing.

He loves attention from his brother and sisters

At his check-up this month he had lost some weight due to some issues with nursing but we've worked somethings out and hopefully we can get him to chunk up a little.

However he is in the 90th% for his height which is no surprise!

Labor Day weekend 2010

Labor Day weekend is always so much fun! First off are the carnival rides and fireworks!

The kids are pretty good at getting peoples attention to throw candy.

We had such a great weekend!

A few weeks ago the kids and I along with some cousins, Aunt, and Grammi hiked the Grotto to a fun small waterfall. It was raining at first so we waited it out in the car, and I decided to not risk ruining our camera if it started to rain again, so this is the only picture I got.

This last weekend P and L had a camp-out at Grandma and Papa's and then I met them in the morning with K and Lil' P to go to a museum and then to Pirate pizza.

time?

Where has the time gone! I can't believe it is already August! Preston is now 11wks old, Payten starts kindergarten at the end of the month, and Lilly and Kaitlynn are just getting bigger and bigger! We've had a pretty laid back summer this year with some trips to the pool an over night campout and a couple hiking trips. Most of our days are spent at home which is an adjustment for me cause I like to get out and go places but with 4 kids it can get pretty crazy and pretty much drain any and all patience I have from me, but things are going pretty good I'd say. Here are some semi-recent pics of Preston.
