i know what you're thinking...two posts in one day...in one MONTH?! it's true. jonah is sick and is taking tons of naps. little ones, but long enough for me to do something. and derik is out of town so no need to try to pick up before he comes home (who am i kidding, i don't do that anyway). here's my little boy just hanging out in my dirty bathroom. he's getting so big! he started walking about a month ago. he's got 8 teefers (isaac doesn't let us call them anything else even though he knows what they're really called). he's super huge. ok well maybe just to me because i take him everywhere...but he's like 27 lbs the last time i checked. he's turning 1 on monday (v-day) and he wears 18-24 month clothes. although the 18mo stuff is getting a little short. i guess that's not too big for a kid his age, but he's been wearing them for quite some time. he can even fit into some of isaac's 2 and 3T stuff. ridiculous.

he says stuff like "bao" for ball and can make the sounds of a horse, cow, elephant, dog, dinosaur, gorilla, alligator, bunny, and sheep. what does a bunny say, you say? they wiggle their noses. it's amazing. and an alligator? it SNAPS! so he closes his hand down real fast. and the best is when he beats his chest and says "ooh ooh." i love him. ok he's waking up so i gotta split but if i never ever post again then at least he knows what he did when he was almost 1 :) love you jonie baby.

my little helper...

isaac has been helping me a lot in the kitchen. he's a really good dumper and stirrer. so today while i was loving on my sick little jonesie baby, isaac got all this stuff out of the fridge and told me to help him make some "deener" (ok that's not how he says it anymore, but we all still do). he said he wanted to make a mustard and salsa and cream cheese and cream cheese and cream cheese sandwich (yes, there were three of them out). he's so creative...

i know...i need to relax and just post something

quick update...

i basically have time for nothing these days, but here are some pictures my sweet neighbor lysa took of the boys a couple october afternoons. one shoot she did in her back yard and the other is in the neighborhood park when the boys were just playing around. in other news, isaac turned 3 back in august and jonah is 8 1/2 months old! time is flying, but i need it to settle down. the baby is giving me a run for my money! hope everyone else is doing well...i miss frequenting all your blogs...
