Quick follow up

Just a quick follow up. Savanah made Willowcreek 8th grade VP and Colten was successful in his club soccer tryout. His new coach said that they would be doing a lot of training and running and probably some early morning training. Way to go Savanah and Colten.

I'll start with Jade. Jade has her learners permit and is driving. She loves dance and did well this year. She had a lot of comments on her dance that she choreographed for dance company it was quite impressive. She danced in 9 of the 20 dances (I thought she might pass out a couple of times but she rocked). Jade participated in the state science fair and won and gets to go to Nationals in Indianna in October.

Savanah is running for VP again this year good luck Savanah. She was in beginning dance and at semester her teacher asked her if she would move up to advanced which she did. She is going to be an extra in a church movie and is excited about that. She still loves to sing and play the piano (by ear she doesn't not like sheet music). She is loving Junior High and hanging out with her friends. She also tried track this year she was given events that she didn't like so I'm not sure that she had the best experience with that.






















Colten still loves soccer. He plays in three different leagues each year. He scores usually about at least 3 goals a game. He continues to amaze me. He wants to try out for club soccer this year. He now wears contacts and is doing well with them. He starts Junior High next year and is excited for that. He is getting taller but is still as skinny as ever. He is currently writing a book (he has three chapters completed and its not bad).






















Madison can't wait to be in school like the big kids. She loves to ride her bike and play with friends. She does "cheer" with her sisters. She is currently playing itty bitty baseball and enjoyed soccer. She loves reading books and going to the library. Actually she loves going anywhere. She still has a dog named Harley (it is the neighbors dog) that sometimes I wonder if she really thinks it is hers.

I didn't want this in the update because I wanted it to be special. Savanah ran for and student counsel and is the 7th grade Willowcreek Vice President. Congradulations Savanah. Love mom.

I need to do quick update if I think I'm busy now who knows when I will have another second with tax season here.

Potty Trained
First Madison is potty trained! Happy day. Thank you Madison.

My TEMPORARY Mustache
Today I don't know if all the makeup (which I hate to wear anyways)can help me. I look like I have a half of a mustache. Yesterday Madison launched off the counter top and her head shot into my face specifically my mouth. So yesterday I had a huge fat lip that bled like crazy (I felt like I was in grade school). Today normal size but and the normal black inside my mouth but on the outside I actually have a bruise that runs above the left half of my mouth and seriously looks like I have a mustache and of course I have a big 1st quarter kickoff luncheon today with one of my clients and all the sales team members from out of state will be flying and then I have to meet with two of my other clients today. Hopefully it is faded by tomorrow as I have another full day with back to back appointments the entire day at the CPA office (of course that would be my first day back there this year).

Savanah's Hair Gone
Next big news this is another sad one for me. Savanah cut off all her hair. Everyone said NO even two guys who were getting her hair cut when she went in. They about died and they don't even know us. But she was determined and it is all gone. To the jaw in the front and a bare neck in the back. Pictures to come for all of you out of staters (is that a word). Anyways with teenagers I have learned that I have to pick my battles and as hard as I try to find an eternal aspect to look for help on this one I just couldn't find a valid one so sad day for me. I think Savanah likes it though she wants to go back and have half of it thinned out (she has sooooo much hair). They gave her the pony tail to send in (when Jade donated hers they took care of that for us hmmm).

Anyways I was released from Young Women's and Kevin and I were called to the activities chairpersons.

Jade
Jade still hasn't gotten her drivers permit which is strange I thought she would have been all over that the day she turned 15. Five months later and still nothing. When I ask her she seems to be waiting for her friends to turn 15. Hurry up all ready Leslie j/k:)

Colten
Colten is getting tall still skinny as a post. Thanks to Colten Madison knows the name of every Pokemon and can sing the entire theme song and like to trade Pokemon cards with the big boys and "battle". He loves the space center and doesn't know what girls are. Thank you for that.

Gotta go.

Potty Training

In a desperate effort to not be the only sunbeam in diapers we are trying to potty train again. It is so bad that she has almost out grown the panties we got about a year ago. I should have just let Madison get the Thomas the Train boxers that she originally wanted. We have tried every bribe from fruit snacks and capri suns to Disneyland. Nothing works. Today and yesterday we tried the cold shower. She has had 3 and she loves them.

Swimming in my jeans

Yesterday while Kevin and Colten where at the BYU game I went to see my dad with my girls and Lexie. They took their suits so they could swim. When we where done I sent Jade over to order pizza delivered. Savanah and Lexie where in the dressing room changing. Madison didn't want to be done so she ran over to the hot tub and jumped in the middle where she couldn't touch. Which means that I had to jump in and grab her. Did I forget to mention that I was wearing levis, a turtle neck sweater, slipper boots, my cash and keyless entry where in my pocket and my cell phone was on my belt. When I got out I swear I weighed 200 lbs. But today my key and phone both work and Maddie was fine so I guess all is well. I thought about taking a picture but all I had was my wet cell phone so sorry no photos.

A Beautiful Day

It was nice to have a beautiful day after the cold spell we have had.

New York with Savanah

Savanah and I went to New York and had fun. It was cold and wet (luckily we new this in advance so we dressed warm and packed umbrellas and ponchos (we didn't end up using the ponchos though). Savanah as always was a good sport. Here are a few of the things we did and a few spots we visited.
