School is Cool!
I love school! Here I am with my classmates at Spring Hill Montessori. I am sitting in the front (second from left). It was Pajama Day when this photo was taken - we got to wear our PJ's to school! (you can click on any photo to see it larger)
Here I am working with some counting beads to learn about math.
My friend Lilliana and I are doing some sorting here.
Every Thursday we have music class. Musicians from my community visit my class and teach us about different types of instruments and we get to try them out!
And here I am learning how to make orange juice with a hand juicer!

Happy Birthday to Me!
As of 7:13 pm on December 13, 2010, I officially turned 3 years old! I had a ladybug birthday party on Sunday, . . . everything ladybugs! I had ladybug hats, ladybug cupcakes, ladybug presents . . . and lots of fun playtime with my friends.
And Mommy even made me a ladybug t-shirt!
Mommy made special ladybug cupcakes too!
One of my favorite presents was a ladybug Pillow Pet!
On Monday, Daddy came to my school to tell my classmates all about me and what I was like growing up. He showed them photos of me and told fun stories about my life. My friends thought that was very cool!
After sharing my photos and stories, my class had a birthday party for me. They made me a birthday crown! Mommy made some more ladybug cupcakes for my class party. I handed out special birthday napkins to my friends, then gave them each a cupcake. Then, all my classmates sat in a circle. My teacher put a candle in the middle of the circle, and gave me a globe. I walked around the candle (like the sun) three times to signify my three years. Then Daddy and I blew out the candle. It was a very special day.
After dinner that night, we had cupcakes AGAIN!!!

Halloween 2010
I had a SUPER DUPER Halloween this year! I went Trick-Or-Treating with my BFF Aidan. I was a ladybug and he was the Cat in the Hat. The Petaluma downtown merchants handed out candy . . . and the restaurants had the best goodies! Here we are with one of the highlight goodies . . . popcorn balls on a stick!
Aidan's Mommy & Daddy also got dressed up too . . . hmmmm . . . there's a theme going on here . . .
Here was a little fairy . . . she's holding another special treat that a town chocolatier made. It was a marshmallow, dipped in chocolate, with sprinkles - they stuck a fork in it so it was easy to carry and eat at the same time - brilliant!

. . . and this little guy didn't stand much of a chance during the Giant's winning streak!

International Day
I'm a world traveler! We celebrated International Day at my school (Spring Hill Montessori) this week. I was dressed as a Native American princess (mommy made my costume).
The first thing I had to do was get my passport . . . then all the kids from each class paraded into the party hall.
Each time I visited a country or continent, I got a stamp in my passport. Each place I visited also had an activity, treats to eat, and a little souvenir.
Here I am playing the bongo drums in Cuba.
Then I went ice fishing in Antarctica. I won some gold coins for catching a fish!
Next, I visited a tea house in Japan.
Here are my classmates, Lukas and Rogan.
Next . . . off to Mexico. They had fried plantains to eat and I got a necklace.
I went to a luau in Hawaii and I made a lei to wear. I tasted coconut pudding and ate pineapple.
I also visited South Africa and made fossils. I visited Paris and ate French bread and cheese - oooh la la! All the families participated by bringing lunch and dessert - food from all over the world (but I liked the French bread and cheese the best!).
Here's one more shot of me in my costume - ta da! Mommy thought I would also wear this on Halloween . . . but I want to be a lady bug. Come back soon to see my Trick-or-Treat photos after Halloween!

Father's Day Photos
I'm a little late posting on Father's Day this year, but here's the scoop . . .
First I took Daddy out to lunch in the town of Sonoma (Mommy came too). Then, I took Daddy to Train Town. This place is awesome!
It's a town just my size . . . the train, the town - everything! We took a ride on the train and I got to feed some goats along the way too.
After the train ride I rode a bucking horse - I had to hold on tight!
Train Town has a carousel, ferris wheel, and other great things to do.
After Train Town, we went to the plaza in Sonoma and I played in the sand, and on the playground structures.
