Tomorrow i should have a "New to me" car, its a Toyota, its not as new as I was looking for, but its in good mechanical condition, and it is 10 years newer than my van! So it is a step in the right direction! Its also about half what I was capable of spending so I figure I can live with its kinda bad/faded paint and some limited repairs (needs a new mirror), but it recently had the heads warp due to a broken radiator hose, and he had the heads replaced and the rings replaced, valves adjusted, it runs like a car half its age. (ive looked at and tested quite a few cars in the last few weeks.)

I will be extracting the cash from my bank, and heading over to get it in the morning. (i have a ride out to Rio Rancho to pick it up. )

probably will still be using my van off and on for a little while while i have the car checked out, and while my mum uses my new car so she can have her cars brakes looked at.

im kinda nervous, mostly because it the unknown. but i think i checked it out pretty well, and it has good records, and i have a good feeling about the old man selling it.

May get van back this evening.. they at-least finally know what the problem is.. (igniter in the electronic distributer system is dead..) they are going to replace the cap, the wires and the plugs while they are at it..

2600 tonight(come one com all!), over at the sub.. lower level lobby, as per usual. 5:30pm

So I pulled out of my driveway today and the moment my back window hit the sunlight i knew something was very wrong. It was very bright and sparkly! someone had shot a hole through my back window 1/4" hole right in the middle, looking at my windshield there is a chip in it in line.. i have not found the bullet yet, but i have to try and tape the window together so it does not all blow out when i hit the freeway, because i have a client i need to go deal with.

Van==brokenish? the other day i noticed my alternator was outputting a fairly varied output, (internal light's sometimes bright sometimes dim) figured i should have that looked at soon, but saturday it decided to throw a tantrum and demand to be looked at NOW! (decided to overheat and boil off some coolant) unknown how the 2 could possibly be connected (im pretty good with mechanical things and troubleshooting, but the connection is beyond me unless the alternator cseased and is cansing the engine to realy work for it. which is not evident in its power or idling.)

so. until the repair shop calls, and even after that until they get it done, im sans vehicle, and sans income (lucky im not missing any clients yet)

I did manage do De-Smegma the sink full of dishes my flatmate left goo all over.. and put some stuff up on ebay..
