However, before all that, please note the following:
✖ I'm a fun-loving and generally cheerful Life Is Happiness kind of girl, but I am also highly critical and very opinionated. This will become very apparent very quickly. I will, however, always respect your opinion regardless of whether it's different from my own. If I ever make you feel like you've been disrespected, I expect you to let me know because I most likely didn't mean to and probably didn't realize. I will return this courtesy in like.
✖ If you're after someone who will comment on every one of your journal entries, you have the wrong person. I leave comments when I have time and when I have something to say. As such, I absolutely do not require or even expect you to leave comments on my own entries. I love comments, but if you don't have anything to comment on you don't need to feel pressured to do so.
✖ I'd rather only have people who use their journal actively on my list. If you don't use your journal actively, then I'd rather you follow me at one of my more public outlets (like Twitter). I prefer not to only grant access on this journal, since I talk about some fairly private things and would prefer that only friends/potential friends have access to this.)
If the above is all fine with you, then I hope we can be good friends! I'm sure we'll learn lots about each other in the future without me providing a reference map.
✖ Lastly, removing is free and a mutual thing. If for some reason you feel like we're not connecting, then you're absolutely welcome to remove me—no questions asked, no offense taken. I will respond in like. (Though, uh, if I thought we were quite close I'll be a little sad.)
