Bad Blogger!

Tons Tons Tons has happened! Jess had her baby little Adelaide aka June Bug hah. You can check out her blog for all that info. So at the end of the school year my grade was forced to do an "8th grade graduation" how special...not! It was pretty stupid everyone in my grade took it as a joke and we didn't really care. My friend Mikael and I sang in it. She played the piano and we both sang the song "You're Not Alone" by Jim Brickman. It turned out good. Then after our graduation the only cool thing was that my grade put on a black light dance which was pretty awesome but still lame at the same time cause everyone is wimps and just sits and talks and doenst dance. So summer is starting and i've been going to camps for sports like seriously every week! It's insane. Oh yeah and at the end of the year in school we did class presidency stuff and i got elected to be the new class president woo party! Tagert leaves in like two and half weeks to go on his mission to Brazil, scary! My mom and i decided we are making a blog for him that everyone can check on to see how he is, the address is http://www.eldertagertsmith.blogspot.com/ but its not fully up and ready yet, but it will be. Oh yeah and Tanner is FINALLY getting married!! Happy Day! He is getting married August 15th to miss Erin Michaels. Stacia is also having her baby in September. Woo lots going on this summer!

Well....

We'll just say A LOT has happened!! Basketball is finally almost over just one last final week then its done and over with. Volleyball still has a month or so about the end of may. Then softball starts yipee! So if you dont all know yet Jessica is having a little girl and is now "officially" in her third trimester...congrats jess. We also know that Stacia is having a boy! So this Easter I guess was pretty good. We had our Easter Egg Hunt as usual and we usually do a bunch of little eggs that have candy or dimes and quarters in them. Then we have two big eggs one has a bunch of candy and $5 then the other one has a bunch of candy and $10. This was the first year in well i think forever Tagert wasn't here for it and when he is here he ALWAYS i mean ALWAYS finds the two biggest eggs. But since he wasnt here hah sucks for him. Tanner found the biggest "golden egg" and taylor found the smaller one. It was nice to have Tanner and Erin down since we haven't seen them in a while (no they are not engaged) and to see Stacia and Taylor and the little guys. Its nice to finally have school over. Even if I have practically no summer because im going to some camp about ever week. I think it will be fun yet wierd to finally be able to play highschool sports. But I guess it means I'm FINALLY part of the highschool even if techincally i am in the highschool as an 8th grader. Anyways thats about it, i think.

Valentines Day

Well Valentines day was kinda boring overall. I had a volleyball tournament that day and we didn't do too hot. Actually I did really crappy and all I had to show for it was critizing remarks from my family saying you need to wear jump soles so you can jump higher. You need to be good like those black girls on that other team and so on and so forth. The best part I think was my brother Trever brightening my day in the morning. Right as we were about to leave to go to the tournament he goes around a corner and comes back with three roses. He hands one to me, chennin, and my mom. It was so cute lol. Then he's like we'll now i've got all the girls in my life taken care of haha it so sweet. Thanks Trev :)

Volleyball!

So two weeks ago was my first club volleyball tournament. Ya know how you are when your so excited for it and your hearts pounding and all your adrenaline is rushing well I was so ready for it. So ready that I just so happened to roll my ankle the first game of the first day of the tournament. It was terrible. Coaches had to help me off the court and we lost our game too. Ya know everyone asks are you ok, well hello people you just rolled your ankle do you think your ok! Luckily my friends mom had tape and taped my ankle up and we iced it so it didn't really have a chance to swell and i started to walk on it. After I rolled it i still played every single game on it whether it was the full game or just serving. Crazy...yes very! We didn't do very good that first weekend. Then last weekend we had another tournament and we actually did pretty good. We played for the silver championship in our bracket but we lost 9 to 15 in the third game. It's kind of hard because only three or four girls have actually played before and then there are younger girls that dont know what they're doing. Luckily I get to move up with the older division soon. Well my basketball team isn't doing too swell, I haven't even been to some of the games because i've been doing volleyball instead. We've only won two games. We actually won four but the lady in charge is stupid so we had to forfeit two of our games. We have two basketball games this weekend so hopefully we will do great! So hopefully you've all heard that Jessica is having a little girl! That's right a girl! You would think would all the boys in my family it would be a boy but nope its a girl. We're soooo excited for her to come and can't wait!

Basketball

So basketball season has finally started! Since little ole Parowan is so small we only have 7 people on our team with two teams from here. We play in a league in Cedar City which I guess gives us some pretty good experience. Our coaches our Pat Benson (my friend Chennin's dad) and my mom is the assistant. So far we have only played one game. We played against Moapa and totally killed them!! The score ended up 40 to 6 YIKES! It was pretty fun though we did really good for a first game. So with Christmas coming around the corner I'm not excited at all for it. It seems like we just had it! I'm not ready for the tree or the lights or any of it. In fact I'm so not ready that my mom finally told me I needed to find the true meaning of Christmas. Which I know the true meaning but I just don't want it to come! Maybe if I was little and believed in Santa and was fully thrilled to wake up on Christmas all surprised to see what he left me maybe that would help. But with the fun of Santa ruined, now I get to I guess really focus on the meaning of Christmas with Savior and all that. Hopefully Christmas will still be fun I guess with me being a party pooper about it.

Slacker...

Ok so I've ally been slacking at this for quite some time. Well in volleyball we ended up getting forth becuase we lost to Enterprise which wasn't so great. But we did our best I guess. Now basketball is starting and we have a pretty good team. My mom and Chennin's dad Pat are the coaches. Our first game is like the first saturday in December or something like that. Also since volleyball has been over and I'm such a volleyball nazi we found a club volleyball team in Cedar City. So I'm now doing that which is pretty cool because the new SUU volleyball coach is the one doing it. Which means I get help from the SUU players. Only bad thing is that all the tournaments are in Salt Lake pretty much every Saturday from January to May. Well two days from now is my birthday. I will be turning 14 WOOT! For my party we are going to go see the movie Twilight and have pizza, cake, and ice cream. It should be pretty cool. Well that's all for now!

CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK!! & More

Well this week is our last week for volleyball. THE CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK! We are scrambling trying to get as much practice in as possible. Well how the championship week works is basically like a tournament u are seeded into brackets and everything and its double elimination. Last year when we played we lost our first game and then battled all the way back to get third. We played about 6 games back to back it was terribly tiring. But this week we are going to come out strong and win all our games including the championship one!! There are only 3 teams we have lost too but 2 two of them are teams that we should of beat and are able to beat. The other team (Snow Canyon) is physically just better than we are. They have all their basics down and are just an overall great team. Hopefully we can win or at least get 2nd or something!! GO LADY RAMS!!! (Goodbye Volleyball ;( i'll miss you)
In other news I just recently had tonsilitis. Not the greatest thing to have. It was terrible!! I'm finally just completely over it. It wasn't the greatest highlight of a 13 year olds life first of all u have to go to the doctor. Then they tell you have to get a shot of pencillin (YIKES!) Then not only after the shot you have to take amoxicillin three times a day for ten days. And Yes the sickness did go on for about ten days. horrible horrible sickness!
On the bright side i'm doing really good in my computer class. So good that they have me work with the schools computer dude. Which resulted in me learning how to make web pages. Well since I'm so quick and get the computer dudes work done fast I have nothing to do. So we came up with this great idea. I would make a 7th and 8th grade part on the school website. It's going to be AMAZING!! I'm going to show those highschoolers what webpage making is all about haha just kidding. Hopefully it turns out great. That's about it....I guess...
