Israel Hamas War

 The West is destroying themselves.  Nearly all of the news channels talk of innocents being killed by Israel and how horrible Israel is...   Where is the outcry to Egypt and Jordan to accept the innocent Muslims?  Where is the hand wringing over their refusal to accept these people into their countries while Israel fights Hamas?   We know why they do not want the people of Gaza but why is the media of the West not constantly talking about how these 2 million people could be safe just on the other side of Rafah Crossing if they were moved there?

Now perhaps Israel would then say the border is closed and leave them for Egypt to deal with, but they would be safe.

Instead they leave them there as human shields for Hamas.

Various musings update

Here is a post from last year... Now to update it.

Things accomplished over the weekend.
1. Pulled weeds from slope.... slope sucks, must find a good groundcover to protect the slope..... did half of it.... filled green "bio" trash can so will do the rest next weekend..... lovely.
Have not done the slope yet this year, its time it is done, so I will start it tonight....still no groundcover.

2013-  still looks like shit, still whack it from time to time, bottom part turning into lawn as gardner is mowing it.

2016 - looks the same....  bottom part has nice grass in it....  

2. Advanced another level and a half in the online game "City of Heroes".... level 34.6 right now... Also did certain tasks to give myself extra endurance..... cool game, lots of fun.... ultimately though after playing for hours you wonder where all the time went....
Play the game less, but still where does all the time go?
^^stopped playing this a long time age, found out today they are shutting it down...

2013 city of heroes still  gone, world of warcraft in full swing, play alot with son.

2016 COH still gone...  WOW and D3 playing with son still underway...

3. Steam cleaned the carpet.... in family room.... this carpet is basically on its last legs..... wife is still looking to find someone to tile our house...
No tile, wife just cleaned the family room two nights ago. Nice change, no added expense of tile, and wife does the carpet. a win-win.
^^House is tiled, except living room and three bedrooms, master bedroom is tile with different style tile.

4. Work... Went to work on Sunday, spent 5 hours catching up on work and preparing for Monday..... yea, Happy Easter to you too!!!
Changed shifts at work, but back to working just 4 days a week.

Just got some sleep, feeling pretty good.

2013 - slept well last night....  went to bed just before 9pm...  woke up at 1030 am!!!  (got up a few times to go to bathroom)  needed the xtra sleep...

2016 - working a 4 day work week, 12.5 hours a day...  

Things still on the horizon.
1. Paint interior of house.... done
2. Tile house done
3. Weed slope, find ground cover. nope
4. buy car. still have the 2005 magnum, now a 2009 charger 

2016 still have both cars...  added a used Impala for Daisy's first car5. buy couch - done 2016 new couches again this year.
6. buy refrigerator. - done
7. buy sod and sod backyard. uh no. 2013 nope 2016 nope
8. Fix Brothers Fence. nope 2013 nope 2016 nope, but looks like he has hired help to do parts of it.
9. sleep. alittle 2016  sleep?

Good to see I have a lot of things I could do... Why put off until tomorrow what you can put off forever?

Shows I watch

Time for an update on  the shows I watch.  First of I do not watch any of them in real time...  I am to busy.  There are 4 DVR's in my house but I do not watch them that way either.  I have cable and can watch them on demand, but I also do not do that.  I watch them on my computer...  (i have a 47 inch monitor) and I will leave it at that...  I also hate watching shows waiting each week for the next episode, so often I will stop watching then catch up in one day...  they will be in no particular order...

1. Continuum.  Watched the first Season a couple of weeks ago, and its on episode 8 of season 2 right now.  Interesting storyline right now...  But appears to be falling into the formula drama/scifi show.  I hope it breaks out and starts to build again.

2. Longmire.  Whats not to like about as show which stars Starbuck and Ricky Valens?  Again this show is one I found surfing around for something to watch.  Watched the first season in a couple of days and I am now stuck waiting for episode 4 of season 2.  Robert Taylor does an excellent job as Sheriff Longmire and I love the way he carries himself.

3. Castle.  Been watching this from the start...  no breaks, week to week.  Love it, but I am now worried they will see a need to break up castle and beckett because thats what primetime/soaps do to try and keep shows going.  to them a working loving couple equals bad ratings I wish they would take the risk and let it work while they have fun with the other parts of the storyline....  

4. Teen Wolf. I watch this with my daughter.  We watched season one week to week, then stopped watching.  A couple weeks back we caught up, watched Season 2.  It is now on Season 3 episode 3.  Interesting storyline...  Teen drama/love/horror show.  Fun watching with Daisy.

5. Vampire Diaries.  My God, Season five????  same as teen wolf but without a break...   Daughter makes me, as well as her grandparents watch...

6. Defiance. Season one Episode 7...  a video game was also released...  havent looked at the game.  Again a lot of interesting possibilities but at the moment I am disappointed and it risks losing me soon.

7. Falling Skies.  On season 3 Episode 3 is next week...  doing Alien invasion of earth better than Defiance and is more interesting at the moment.

8. Game of Thrones.  Excellent show for killing!!!!  a friend posted this on FB...  it says it all about the 2nd to last episode this year....

9. True Blood. Didnt like last Season, hopefully this one gets better as normal humans learn more than vampires are out there!

10. Dexter.  More than likely the last season...  Will Dexter be discovered???!  Will he turn his sister into a cold blooded killer too???

well I will leave it at that for now, I am sure I missed a couple of shows...

Huh?

A far left relative just posted this on Facebook.  Am I the only one to look at this and think how oblivious to reality one has to be to think this is even slightly true?  It just amazes me how people have such a distorted view of reality, and/or how they must demonize the people they do not agree with.
