Kids Need Kiwanis!
Since 1922, the Kiwanis Club of Santa Monica has been an active and generous member of our community. Annually we contribute over $150,000 to the children of Santa Monica through scholarships, grants and enriching activities.
We support kid's futures by awarding need-based scholarships for success in academics, and talent based scholarships for music and visual arts achievements.
We encourage students to believe in themselves as the title sponsor of the Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year event, and funding scholarships for students at the Police Activities League.
We volunteer our time to provide fun and meaningful programs for kids and their families.
What is Kiwanis? Kiwanis is Us!
We are a service club. We are volunteers. We are an eclectic mix of ages, genders, occupations, backgrounds and interests. We are all passionate about making our community and the world a better place for children so they can thrive. We are devoted to serving the children in our local community and also children all across the country and worldwide through unique and innovative service projects and fundraising initiatives.
Community Support and Grants
We give over $50,000 annually to local not-for-profit organizations that support children, and we volunteer with these organizations to help them meet their goals
