Major quilt step

All of the blocks are appliquéd. All 25 bird blocks and all 124 little leaf blocks. This is the placement without the border. Next step...get someone to sew it all together and then get it quilted.

More on the quilt

I have been very busy with my quilt blocks. At some point this weekend I realized that I was actually nearing the end with these blocks so I was inspired to keep on going. Now I have 4 left to do plus about 55 small leaf blocks. Yes it will all be coming home with me and I may have a quilt to show off at my stitching day on August 20.

Block 16

I am suddenly  blogging again! Here is block 16. Only 9 big blocks left. I had thought to leave the quilt blocks here in Florida but since I seem to be progressing again,  maybe I'll take the remaining ones  home when we go and work on them at home this summer. Today, I am going to do a few of the 124 small leaf squares.

The quilt continues

This is block  15 out of 25 in my BB Designs quilt. I seem to work on it in spurts then set it aside for long periods of time...don't know why because I enjoy it when I have it out.
