I’m an independent musician, producer and improviser who creates music rooted in Ambient, Dub & everything in between. I specialize in improvised performances, live-looping & studio productions that are cinematic & immersive. Aetherphonic is the eco-system that regroup/hosts & links the different music monikers I use to release music in different styles (Kolyder+Arkanist+Koyl). As a musician born with physical disabilities, I never really fit in the mainstream music industry and had to create my own path and ways of doing things. That goes for how I play instruments (es. guitars, lapsteel & vocals), to how I structure my projects, distribute the music and also the attitude & state of mind behind it all. Over the year, I’ve realized my quite personal approach can be useful to & inspiring for others. I opened this Kofi page so I can share that with the world in the hope that it helps other artists on their journey. This page is also a means to offer a direct way for people to support my work so they can be sure there’s no intermediary taking a cut in the process.
