HOW TO: Embed a Page or App
After you have installed and activated this plugin (check the Installation tab):
1. Go to dot.vu and to any page you wish to embed on WordPress, click the “Put on Website” button, go to the WordPress tab, and copy the generated shortcode.
2. Paste the shortcode wherever WordPress allows shortcodes to be used, such as pages and posts. The shortcode includes various fields that can be configured in your page editor.
3. Preview your content to make sure you have it configured with the right size for example, then publish!

Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don’t need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install of Dot Embed, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.
In the search field type “Dot Embed” and click Search Plugins. Once you’ve found our Dot Embed plugin, you can install it by simply clicking “Install Now”.

The manual installation method involves downloading our plugin and uploading it to your webserver via your favourite FTP application. The WordPress codex contains instructions on how to do this here.

Can I use this code on other platforms?

You can find other embed options in your page editor if you want to embed in other platforms, but the code generated with the WordPress Embed option (on your page editor at Dot) is meant to be used only with WordPress along with this plugin.

Does this plugin support older versions of WordPress?

This plugin was developed for WordPress 4.7.3 and we can’t guarantee that it will work on earlier versions of WordPress.
