... OK , not quite , but just can not understand how this stuff work . sometimes have ideas that feel incredibly simple , and yet can not even figure out how to wire up . know how to use commands , and that make sense - sure there can be awkward limitations even in commands , but actually just learn how to write datapack functions , simple but effective for purposes ! ... could not figure out how to power command blocks that would activate these functions , however .

code make sense , wires do not . not exactly advanced programmer , but certainly more of programmer than engineer . all of these videos that claim to teach redstone do not slow down or explain with depth that personally need . need to be sat down like kindergartener , slowly and carefully go through every single component with all of interactions and use cases , and that is not exactly minecraft redstone demographic . 

struggle to follow " basic " block by block tutorials for specific machines , and especially struggle if need to change something simple like lever placement . understand nothing about this stuff , never have , and feel like never will because just get more and more complex every year . simple , basic , shut up . shut up shut up shut up .

fight to work through simple animation today and could not even feel proud when figure out , just utterly defeated . hate redstone - now post is over .

wonder if actually capture behaviour that want to capture , because frankly do feel very petty and rude impulses sometimes , but do try to contain even if in answer to someone who is rude . know there is problem of people who outwardly act like glittery pink flower , but then act horrible in private or with little provocation , and just . really do not want to be that !

even when someone is rude , even when have impulses to snap back and snark in return ... often can not help but step back and just ask things like why did that feel that appropriate , or to give firm , almost non-answers that ask for simple acceptance . some people genuinely have no idea that these questions rude , and need push in perspective - unfortunately some people will see all non-affirmative responses as inherently rude , because never learn how to take no , but some might at least be more receptive if spell out firmly without swear words and snark .

different story if someone say truly heinous things - will just block and cut off - or if dare to return and double down . though , funnily enough find so far with this approach , that never happen . never get any sort of apology , but neither get continuation of bullshit , so maybe can mark as win ?

... but of course , sometimes still do snark and whinge with friends - and know sometimes do fail to contain , or fail to handle things in ways that feel proud of . and know sometimes people read as hostile condescension because words can be very direct , but also can not help that , can only help actual behaviour - and do sometimes just wonder if actually succeed . 

so ... unfortunately , as always , there can be rampant misogyny in fandoms online , and people often refuse to analyse as such . this lead to people who make simple , direct posts - name 1 favourite female character , perhaps under some specific conditions like villain or badass . that kind of thing can be good to think about , to wonder why not more of these characters exist , or why perhaps consider inherently more unlikable .

but there is another kind of post which do not immediately specify female character , then lash out at people who tag with canon male characters - such as posts that say things like " my beautiful princess " . on one hand , of course , important to recognise that one's personal gender headcanons not in canon text , and that is what make headcanon . on other hand , these ones do not present as thought exercise to begin with - without that specification , this start to feel like kneejerk reaction to femininity when associated with men , not critique of misogynistic bias . 

furthermore begin to wonder , even if any of these headcanons actually true - if given character was actually bigender , transfeminine , or otherwise within canon text ... would that actually be taken seriously , or now boil down to physical appearance ? that if such character have bushy beard , or lack breasts , would deem as invasive man and therefore not part of conversation .

know that part is hard to answer because can not really find such characters in mainstream yet - even multigender characters must change whole body to align with expectations of gender , and especially shapeshift outright as see with jordan li from gen V . this is not show that watch , but character recently come on radar because bigender , and yes , already groan at idea .

regardless , people just do not take bigender identities seriously . even when personally try to point out that there is unfairness in paint all bigender experiences with non-binary labels and particularly " gender neutrality " , people do not listen or care . this was what " choose " , after all - always invader , always pretender , too much of man for women and too much of woman for men . better just shut up and accept never part of conversations , never part of world , always for someone else to decide what gender really is . 

recently on tumblr , there was fictorose blog which receive and answer question of whether fictorose people would date fictionfolk that share identity of one's f/o . this was in public kin-based tags , and feel like answer was somewhat dismissive to fictionfolk identities , so try to explain . and really , conversation did not last long at all , but for some reason still in head - maybe because never get final answer , and brain treat as unfinished . hopefully then this post may help .

part of this answer was that , due to circumstances , fictionfolk is " not 100% that character " - and take umbrage with that , because that honestly just make things unclear . notice that many people's f/os often step outside of canon , sometimes very far at that , for various reasons - canon was not well written , connect at different point in life than canon present , connect with specific AU or little-known iteration , or otherwise . but " not 100% that character " , would understand to be rude and pointless statement .

think overall more accurate to say that random fictionfolk will never be exact match for one's f/o . fictionfolk who claim to match one's f/o is something that is pretty certain to be manipulation tactic , frankly - and otherwise , fictionfolk may share core identity , but will still be different for various reasons . some of those reasons come down to personal memories and experiences of source world , and others come down to circumstances of current life - but unless choose to see this way , those do not make identity " less " than 100% character .

other core here is that , of course , relationship with fictionfolk would be like any other relationship with another physical person , whether or not long distance - can not simply imagine scenes or create art and feel partner is able to understand and reciprocate . to maintain relationship , need to communicate with someone else in physical circumstances who might need to deal with some level of school , or work , or whatever , and actually schedule things to do together . and things can go wrong - and can not just imagine scenarios to fix , or go through scenarios over and over again to fine-tune .

and that tend to be real core here for most fictorose people - even if personally develop headmate of exact f/o , that still add new considerations , let alone if date fictive from another external collective . so wish people like OP would just say that , rather than this dance around that fictionfolk identity is not real enough , which is just dismissive and honestly unclear about actual boundaries . do not think fictorose people should feel any kind of obligation to date fictionfolk , but think should be clear about why choose to not . 

really want to take advantage of world concept here , but also truly fill with things that love and have fun with . spend some time to think out loud over on minecraft tumblr blog , and come up with something that really set excitement .

so , this world is faerie world - faeries dictate paths , faeries can curse and bless and do all sort of things to human ( villager ) inhabitants . roads travel from village to village not by human desires , but faerie ones . humans try but fail to fight this infrastructure , and now must instead wall up villages and place hope in iron .

... but of course humans can still make use of this infrastructure , particularly for trade and service between villages . can not fight this world , just have to try and live through . and so , just like that , new things pop up along roads - cosy inns , delicious food , things to lead these bold travellers off course and right into faerie hands .

and just realise , this would be really great way to incorporate minigames into world - distractions and temptations along road , signs that offer treasure and wealth and power , in exchange for just one little game ... eee ! could make these bright , bold , colourful , or maybe even mysteriously tuck into trees ... really entice those silly humans . ;P 

of course , sometimes faeries play games with each other too , so not all games should be roadside . but just so happen that also have ocean with basically no builds and no ideas for what to do - that could be great place to set up games that would not fit into main island !

ah , this world is so much fun to think and build up . need to work on website showcase so badly , but not even sure where to start !

not sure what that youtube IP block was about , but things seem to work OK now , which beg question of why even happen to begin with . without idea of what set off , will still keep caution in mind - just find odd as yesterday did not even do anything super intensive or suspicious , and many more months pass with activity that would be far more suspicious . manage to get throttle during that time , but never IP block .

maybe this is sign of general crackdown in future , some sort of test that roll out to block any logged-out user , but not really hard theory yet . just can not think of why would hit kossai so suddenly , and then lift so soon . 

this show up in subscription feed today , and love to see stuff like this . as much as might also love granular , colour-coded organisation porn , that is just not how brain always work ! always good to see people talk about how these systems can fail , especially when people learn to tie organisation into aesthetics just for sake of aesthetics . might look very pretty to decant pantry contents and line up nice and neat , but how many people will find that actually usable and maintainable ?

... however , personally think would be emotionally unable to do this . to spend so long on this patchwork assembly , but then have to cut into exact pattern pieces , to cut through that precious work ? absolutely not ! maybe haori , or something else that can just assemble into shapes ... so , rectangles mostly .

hmm . think might need to add wonderland to hearthome list . no specific iteration , but not every iteration either . still not entirely sure if hearthome is most appropriate label anyway , but these tend to be places that strike chord with aspects of home world , or otherwise faerie feelings in some way , even if not literally relate to faeries or actually consider home .

another one is actually video game glitches - not all kinds of glitches , most particularly glitches that feel as if world break down . things like old minecraft far lands , or glitch cities in early pokemon games - player witness strange effects on world , may feel compulsion to continue regardless of in-game dangers , and may become stuck without any way to leave .

this is just very faerie thing to begin with , to lead someone astray - glitches like these give visual representation of what that breakdown might feel like , without anyone actually end up hurt ... plus , technical details absolutely fascinate . glitches do not represent feelings of home , but still feel very strong positive pull , and hearthome is only term which know of that encompass these sort of place pulls . feel kind of hesitant to just create and adopt sub-term , though - hearthome discussions already can be hard to come by .
