I build infrastructure that has to work at global scale. Most recently, I was a Software Engineer Intern on Microsoft 365 Substrate, the platform that powers Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange, where I helped keep the backbone of Microsoft's cloud reliable and trustworthy for hundreds of millions of people.

Background

Before that, I was an engineer at Chainguard, a startup focused on software supply chain security - helping organizations build, verify, and deploy container images and software components that are secure by default.

Earlier, I collaborated with Kinvolk (the team behind Flatcar Linux, a container-optimized Linux distribution acquired by Microsoft) where I worked on container infrastructure and contributed to open source projects.

Built a web-based test runner and observability tools, accelerating diagnostics and incident response across distributed storage systems.
Led research on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), delivering a deep-dive on data chunking and embedding to improve semantic search.

Kinvolk, acquired by Microsoft, created Flatcar Linux - the leading open-source, immutable OS for containers, forked from CoreOS.

Engineered the systemd-sysext build tooling for Flatcar Container Linux SDK, enabling secure runtime extension of its immutable OS.
Replaced the legacy Torcx system with sysext images for Docker/containerd. Shipped in Alpha release, now used for OEM sysexts (Azure, etc.).
