a day for campus events :)

Wow! What a crazy day, well crazy couple of days! So i am the Event's Coordinator for Presidential Ambassadors here at SUU. So i am in charge of helping with Senior Expos, Overnights, and all the fun events that SUU hosts. Anyway yesterday, and today was an overnight and I have been CRAZY busy!!!  We planned this thing called Thor's Amazing Race, which is like the show "The Amazing Race", but SUU version! So a Giant scavenger hunt across campus! It was so fun! So here are some of the clues.. lets see if you can guess them?

 So the first answer is share it--- the gereal SHERRIT library
Second is the STARLIGHT ROOM in the Sharwan Smith Center
Third is the GREENHOUSES, so the new science building
Fourth is the SWIMMING pool in the P.E. building.

haha this was just a few of 10 clues that we did! Anyway it was so much fun, running around campus in 28 degree weather! (yes that was the temp in Cedar last night)! So here is a picture of Bailey (my right hand girl) and Jared (my boss), and me waiting for students to finish the race!

So that has been crazy, and I have spent exactly 9 hours for events on Thursday, and 10 hours for events on Friday, minus 3-4 hours for class! haha i feel like i live in the Welcome Center! :) Its so great!!!

Also my roomates and I decorated our house for halloween and it is SO SO Cute.. wanna see????

a day for family & bee stings...

lock me up in a nut house everybody im going CRAZY!!!

life is seriously nuts. I don't have time to even breathe somedays. between school (anatomy, chemistry, biology, statistics, and three labs) and work (welcome center & kolob) and roomates (Hailey Rae Jensen & Kylee Jill Curtis) and gym (Gold's) and being sick (yuck) and sleeping (barely 4 hours a night) and homework (what is homework?).... i dont have time to breathe.

but it's all good right? this weekend i got to come home and stay for more than six hours!! which i haven't done in over 2 months!.... i came holme july 24 for Luke Ronald Johnson's missionary homecoming and Timothy Don Johnson's missonary farewell, but only for that then i had to head back. so yes i finally get to stay here:) & it's nice i miss richfield sometimes... lol but i most certainly LOVE cedar!!

So my friend Clay Hunter started this thing called the "Mob Hangouts of Cedar City" on facebook and it is now HUGE!! so they did a slip-n-slide on the first day of school and HUGE turnout. on thursday they did a bon fire in Enoch, and tons of people showed!! it was way way fun :) so cedar is finally having fun things to do!! and its great because Jace Crawford posts the pictures on facebook and then you tag yourself and become friends with the people that you meet there,,,, anyway its just a great way to meet people and have fun :)

this weeked is labor day weekend and like i said im home in richfield. we had a little family reunion for the Evan's side (my mom's side) and we were in charge of it. The theme was "Christmas in September" and santa came :) it was pretty fun except for the fact that i got stung by some bees on my legs and feet and they are all swollen and itchy :( after the reunion we drove to koosharem where my brother Brage is finishing his eagle scout project :) putting up some basketball hoops at koosharem elementry. so we took the caution tape down and it was fun!

I'm really not ready to go back to school. :( it's going to be a long semester. but thats okay because someday i will be makin the big bucks right?? we hope so anyway...

a day for zombies

holy crap... so these are the hours that i worked this week...
Monday : 1:30p.m.- 9:30p.m.(EVENING)
Tuesday : 1:30p.m. - 9:30 p.m.(EVENING)
Friday: 9:30 p.m. - 5:30 a.m.(NOC)
Saturday: 1:30p.m.-9:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m. - 5:30a.m.(DOUBLE)
Sunday 1:30p.m. - 9:30p.m.(EVENING)

its sunday now... its 2:46 a.m. im at work and i only have a few more hours to go until i get to go home and sleep, until my next shift... ahhhhhhhhhhh i hope i can stay alive.

i feel like a zombie walking down the halls!...

as for school. biology sucks. way way bad. and im not doing good in it and i only have 7 days to do good in it!...so hopefully i do okay...

oh & my house is a mess.

a day for catching up!

well at least it hasn't been five whole months since i last blogged, but it surely has been a while! I really was just going to forget about it, but a really awesome person inspired me and made me think that people actually might look at it so i should probably update it at least once in a while!...

so life update...work work work. i have been working at Kolob Regional as a CNA for a little over 3 months now and it's great! I have good days and bad days but for the most part, I really do love it! The staff & residents are so amazing and i have met lots of great friends and learned many life lessons in the time that i have been there. i have this jar in my room that i put quotes in that change my life and the other day at work a resident said to me,
"We say we're gonna do things, and do things, and do things, and we never do them. What a shame. What a shame!" -A. Harvey.
and it made me smile. so i put it in my jar :) It made me want to go do stuff that i say im going to do. like skydiving! so i really want to do that before the summer is over:) we will see if it happens!

another thing that has been keeping my hands and mind busy is school. yes summer school. i always thought summer school was for the "bad kids" you know, the ones who failed during the year. and now im in it and its just kinda funny. but not because i failed, but because if i do this, i can apply to the nursing program in february!... (scary!!!) so i guess we will see how that goes. I took chemistry the first part of the summer and worked my tush of and got an A, so now... i am in biology and i really really want an A, so i guess i will start working a little harder at that. :)

and you can't forget my lovely friends!!! I have met so many new people lately and i love it!! I have made lots of new friends over the summer... Meran and Megan Allred my twin friends are so much fun and we facebook and we talk about getting fit and then we make smores! lol :)... some BIG A smores!

also there's miss Hailey Rae Jensen... my best friend who i love so much... she has come down to stay with me & is coming again this week, hopefully to find a job and move in with me! we have had some good times, watching justin beaver and buying his posters to hang on our walls. we have also made some fun trips to st. george and spent some time relaxing by my pool :) lol.

and theres also lots of great other friends that i have met that i will have to update on later... but just to name a few... Monica Millet aka. Mo Mo $ $ my friend who was born the wrong color, Nate the great Peterson (who was the reason i got an A in chemistry ), Chad Jensen, who really makes for some really great adventures at too early in the morning :), and i certainly can't forget about miss Rachel Ruff, Ryan Hardy, and Court Du. who come down for Oreintation at SUU and let me party with them. and two days ago... i got to see Kate and Tiana again for the first time pretty much since they moved home! so that was wonderful!...last but not least! you can't forget about my best friend Chad out there in the land of the hawkeyes, doin work and living it up!love and miss him tons! i just have some really great friends and have had an AMAZING summer so far... im ready for more adventures!!! so i guess we will see what what happens next...

so 5 months went by super fast and now im back again blogging about more finals! ha... jk. not doing that this time..... um ya so this semester has gone by SUPER fast and i can't believe the first year of college is over. Since i last blogged i have become single... and its a great life!  i've been partying it up the last few weeks with my friends and roomies! kate, tiana, alyssa, and i made a random trip to las vegas and it was bomb! we walked the strip, road the coasters, and went shopping and it was so much fun! ... update of my life.. i'm staying in cedar for the summer. i got a really awesome job as a CNA and i'm moving into a very nice place:) i'm so excited for life! ... anyway my goal is to blog more this summer and try to keep up with all of your cute blogs! what's next? who knows!

a day for studying...

i haven't updated my bloggie for the longest time becaues, well you see i have this thing called finals. It hates me and it keeps controlling my life. But don't worry it's leaving tomorrow and i wont see it for 5 more months :)  i have been studying so hard all week long and i am really really hoping that i get good grades or i really might have to cry if i dont. happy day of studying tomorrow & then a break with my boy and some really good family bonding time too!

        we went on the mountain today to get a christmas tree. we were successful for  a little bit. on the way home the tree fell out of the truck and was ran over... it was demolished.
