Lance turns 30!! This is the first of many celebrations, this being at the Crouse's.
Kami decided she liked sleeping in her own room and asked Grace to switch rooms/beds for a while. She did end up being too lonely and all three girls now sleep in the bunk bed.

All ready for dance class. We had a good little routine going on Friday mornings. We got up got Grace to school and then got these two cuties all ready for dance, and then week after week wanted me to take their picture!
It happened to be an off week and we were the only ones to show for Syd's class (of 8 students), so Kami joined in on the fun, and then got to have her class afterwards.
Happy Birthday Lance! To celebrate Lance's 30th I sent him to work with a gift to open every hour starting at his actual time of birth until he got home.
He requested Boston Creme Pie cupcakes, and they were DELISH!

(decorations I had Lance and Cory hang for the party)
I had a big party planned for Lance's birthday and had a big surprise in store for him planned months in advance. I had planned for Cory Stephens to come and be at the party, it was PERFECT timing with Cory's work schedule with the Disney Cruise Line and he was (barely) able to come. At one point Lance caught on to the plan, but we were able to detour him and it was a fun surprise to have Cory spend the birthday weekend with us.
Little did we know that our other good friends (away at Med School) we had counted on NOT being at the party ended up surprising us both and showing up at the party too!
We have such good friends that have stuck with us for many years, and we had such a blast spending time with them.
We were having such a good time hanging out with our friends that we put a movie on for the kids in our room so they could fall asleep. I don't think anyone fell asleep, but they sure had a good time staying up late together.
I am so disappointed I didn't get picture of ANY of our party guests! But the food and company were superb. All of Lance's favorites were in attendance.

We have a great group of friends here that we have met in our ward. The girls decided we wanted to have a progressive dinner for our Valentine's date. We had such a good time! Appetizers and trivia at Brooke and Kirk Halbisons, Salad and visiting at Dave and Jamie Harper's, Main Course at our house (we served steak, parmesan risotto, asparagus, raspberry lemonade), dessert and games at Jared and Jen Christensen's, and babysitting station compliments of Bartley and Nicole Rust.
Lance and I hung lights a few nights before, I hung decorations that I had made for a R.S. activity and from Kami's birthday, used Nicole's china, borrowed decor from my mom and Lance's mom, and with Karen's help was able to pull the beautiful table and decor together.
It was a ton of work, but TOTALLY worth it!
oh, there's my pregnant belly at about 29 weeks.
Gracie was so sweet and set the table on Valentine's day.
Mollenhauer's Valentine tradition: we each write something we LOVE about each family member on a heart and it gets hung in the kitchen for all to see. There were some very touching sentiments shared, it really reminds us what great family we have!

So the last installment of Lance's birthday celebrations was that we took a trip up to Las Vegas to visit the DeWitt's. Brian is busy with Medical School but was able to tear away from studying and clinicals a bit to hang out with us. Brian and Celynda are such great hosts and we always have a great time together. We can sit and do absolutely nothing with them and have the best time!
