Superman
Jace got this Superman suit from Tom for Christmas, behind it a small blower attaches to the suit and it puffs up and stays puffed. He really likes it, thanx Tom.

Christmas to be continued...SURPRISE!
To finish where I ended on the Christmas blog, we came home packed up and went to FRESNO! Lance had the week off of work so we went to Fresno to surprise my family, we left, obviously Christmas day, stayed the night in Bakersfield, then got up, ate breakfast and headed to Fresno. Before we pulled up to the house we stopped, got the kids out of their seat belts and drove up to the house, ran to the front door and rang the bell. My dad opened the door and we yelled, SURPRISE, he was speechless. We walked in and everbody was shocked to see us there it was perfect. We timed it perfect, my parents were on their way out to go shopping. I'm glad we went it was alot of fun. We stayed there until Saturday morning. Then we met Grandpa and Grandma Wells in Bakersfield for Breakfast, they were on their way to Fresno for a Mission Farewell. Mom and Dad I hope you had as much fun with us as we had with you!!! Love you
Christmas Day
Just 5 minutes after I got done blogging Jace woke up, we told Jace to wake up Cassidy, she wasn't too excited until she realised he was saying Santa came. We went into the living room and saw what Santa Brought, JAce got a Power Wheels, Cassidy got a Kitchen, and Alexis got a Teddy bear that plays music whenever you touch it. We got calmed down and started opening presents, and we lived happliy ever after until we looked around and saw what a mess me made in such a short amount of time. After the presents were opened and we got dressed we went to Kelby and Alyson's (Lance's Parents) had breakfast, and opened more presents. We hung out for a while, then got home and packed to go....................to be to continued !
My kids new present, even Alexis likes it.

Christmas Morning
Well, it is 6:30 in the morning and I (Celeste) am the only one awake. I thought this year Cassidy would be up bright and early, she was so excited last night. We put reindeer dust on the sidewalk, we made cookies for Santa, we put carrots out for the reindeer and read the story of Christ's birth, I thought all of that would have helped her to wakeup before me. So here i am waiting, and waiting, I guess I'll have to go in and wake her up.

Party, Party, Party!
Tis the season for Christmas parties, it's been awhile since the whole Hughes clan got together so a party was organised, I mean 90% of the family still live in town there shouldn't be any reason why we couldn't get together atleast once a year. We had a wonderful dinner and dessert, and played the white elephant gift game. Santa showed up and the children were very excited, except the kids between the ages of 1-2 years old, they all started screaming when the parents brought them close, the torture we put our kids through just for a picture. It was a wonderful evening. Then we had the opportunity to host one at our house. We had a big group, 26 adults and 28 children, it was loud but a lot of fun. Everyone brought an appetizer to eat which made it very simple, and we played the white elephant game. Someone brought a fish as their present, I got it, and was very close to keep it but it got taken, cassidy wants some kind of animal at the house, and a fish would have been a good thing for now. Just like the last party we got Santa to come again, it was a hit, what was fun about it, we didn't tell anybody that Santa was coming so it was a surprise for everyone. It turned out to be a ton of fun, I hope everybody thought the same thing. Merry Christmas all who reads this!!!!

My big girl!
About two and half weeks ago Alexis got a tooth, then two days later another one showed and a day after that she started sitting up without falling after 5 seconds and can army crawl, that's a lot for a 7 month old. Here is a video of her crawling to her cousin.

Sick, Sick, Sick
I am tired of being sick and I'm tired of having sick kids. We have been sick off and on since October 5th, I got sick first then Cassidy, then Jace, and last was Alexis, Cassidy got better quick for a few days then relasped, Jace had it really bad, lets just say I was on my knees a lot cleaning up what came out of his stomach, then he was doing pretty good for a day and relasped, then Alexis got it, I had a few rough nights with her, thankfully she was not as bad as Jace. Then Cassidy started to feel good and just yesterday she got pink eye, on top of that all of us are coughing our throats up (if that even makes since). I'm so tired of it. Anybody have any home remedies, or herbel remedies, I need something to help my family become healthy again. Please from the desperate mom.

weekend mahem
The weekend is over and boy was it filled with lots of non-stop activites, maybe one too many. We played inside, thankfully the weather was nice because most of their time spent was outside in the backyard. The problem is Lance took the camera so I couldn't remember it with pictures. When Emily, Trey, and Ryan left, my kids got on the couch and have not left it. It also doesn't help they are sick (sooo very sorry Rachel, I really hope your kids don't get sick), (Leona it's probably a good thing you didn't come down). It turned out to be fun weekend.

Time to Vent
Well, an update, Lance is in Mexico hunting birds and I'm at home with our children, I should be used to it since he has been gone for the last three months in Brian Head, UT. it was work related (he did come home on the weekends), but this time he's gone for recreational purposes and I would like time for myself. I did find out something that made me a little happier, their hotel from the bird hunt is two hours away. So, they drive there and back in the morning a total of four hours, do who knows what for some time at the hotel and then in the evening go back and hunt again. Everyday they drive for 8 hours, doesn't sound like fun to me.
What is fun though I have Mark and Rachel Little's children here with me this weekend, they are going up for General Conference so I told them to drop there kids off at my house because my kids have been wanting to play with them for the longest time and this weekend works out great!

Disneyland!!
The Hughes family just got back from Disneyland, it was a lot of fun. We went with Lance's side of the family. Thankfully we didn't loose our kids. We left Wednesday, went to the park Thursday thru Saturday and came home Sunday. we got on all the rides very quickly. Going during school was a great idea, and the weather, well, we couldn't have had it better, 70 degrees, very nice. It was Cassidy and Jace's first time, also Alexis's but she won't remember. Cassidy was tall enough to ride most of the big kid rides, we had her on (our favorite) Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Star Tours, and the elevator one in California Adventures. Jace was also tall enough to ride Splash Mountain, and he got on and didn't like the last drop, we got the picture of when he drops so when I scan it in I will put it on, it is classic. It was a great adventure for our kids and the adults too. I can't wait to do it again.
