Week of Thanks.

We were lucky enough to enjoy Thanksgiving in Ohio, this past November. It's always a great holiday to be with family. We have so much to be thankful for and I'm glad we were able to spend it with Matt's family, good friends, good fun, and of course, good food.

We went to the Cincinnati Zoo in the morning to see the animals, went home for a nap, and came back in the evening for the train ride & lights. The boy was in heaven on that train.

Fall Festivities.

We've been blessed with a great fall season. However, I have not posted ANY pictures, so they will all be lumped together. We continued our tradition of apple picking with the Lee's and then finishing with IHOP--what a fabulous day. It was perfect weather (unlike last year was FREEZING) and Kaden had so much fun running around picking apples and playing in the dirt--not to mention the ride on the tractor. What a day to be a little boy! :)Image

On the tractor and SO happy!

ImageTo say Kaden loves pumpkins, is an understatement.

Image He kept saying, "pick out the seeds!" Pretty focused.

Our Masterful pieces of artwork. I'm still impressedat Matt's free hand weiner dog. Kaden LOVED it.

On Halloween Night, the stores on Main St. were giving out candy. It was a lot of fun going from store to store. Our ward had a trunk or treat. Kaden was actually excited and able to go from car to car. It was a lot of fun, and so cute to hear his "Trick or Treat" & "Happy Halloween."

Just the TWO of us.

This is my TWO year old boy and his best friend, Teddy. They do everything together, from driving cars, to wrestling Dad, to read books, hide, & sleep.Image

Image This past week they celebrated Kaden's 2nd Birthday together. Kaden woke up to a room filled with almost 70 balloons! Talk about party! He and Teddy had so much fun.

Image Then ate ridiculous amounts of bacon on, of course, Thomas birthday plates.

Image Played play-doh for an hour, his new favorite pastime.

I feel almost like his 2nd birthday is harder for me than his 1st. His first was a milestone, but to be two is to be officially into the toddler stage, and soon preschool and kindergarten, etc. Ahhhhh! It's all going too fast...

Happy Birthday, Kaden.

We love you.
