- Peter Attia on exercise intensity.
- Egg prices over the past decade. Egg prices over the last 10 months. No wonder you don't hear the legacy media talking about egg prices anymore. MAHA!
- How to improve your content diet in the new year. You are what you read. Couple of years old but new to me.

With the news that Bo Nix has a broken bone in his ankle and is out for the rest of the year the path to the Super Bowl is now wide open for the winner of today's game between New England and Houston in Foxboro. Hate to jinx it but I really like the Pats chances. Despite everyone seemingly picking the Texans - there's a reason Vegas still has the Pats as the favorite.

Canada already had the very real danger of Alberta voting to become an independent nation but instead of going to Alberta to try and put out that fire Canadian PM Mark Carney went to China and lit a bigger one. Will the results of this "trade deal" with China see the province of Saskatchewan join with Alberta? With those two gone what's to keep British Columbia from declaring independence since they are now geographically cut off from the rest of Canada? Quebec has long wanted to be independent. How long before the other provinces follow suit? Are we witnessing the disintegration of Canada in real time?

A little little language nugget as we await the fall of the Islamic regime in Iran: today the word "polygraph" basically means lie detector test in many people's minds but the word originally was used to denote a machine that would copy a letter as it was being written. Thomas Jefferson was big into those sorts of machines.

- China's trade surplus surges 20% to a record $1.2 trillion, even with Trump's tariffs. Data surprised me but then I remembered that these numbers are supplied by the CCP. What if China is lying?
- From the archives: Mystic chords of memory - learning from the American story.
- Minnesota is a frozen-Banana Republic. It's getting dangerously close to being declared a filed state.
- Tariffs: May Not Be So Scary. Experts and opponents keep being surprised the tariffs are working.

President Trump says he'll be attending Monday's championship along with Secretary of State Marco Rubio who's from Miami, Notre Dame seems to be building quite a team, and Dante Moore says he will be returning to school. Lots of college football news to think about as we wait for news out of Iran to come of the regime's demise.

Every morning I wake up and wonder if the regime in Iran toppled while I was sleeping. I'm not worried about missing it so much as bothered by the fact that each night it doesn't happen is another night dozens of protesters are killed by the mullahs. I pray that it happens soon.

Our attention spans are short here - just look at the Brown University shooter fading from public consciousness. Or remember pledging you stand with Hong Kong? When's the last time you thought of either? Hard not to think of how fleeting such things can be when someone like Scott Adams is facing more eternal questions.
