About the Council
The Latvian Business Council in Qatar (the Council) has been established with the authorization of the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in the State of Qatar, as confirmed by the Embassy’s official letter addressed to the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority.
The Council facilitates trade, investment, and measurable business exchange between Qatar and Latvia, serving also as a bridge to the broader Baltic region — Lithuania and Estonia.
Operating under the coordination of Lawerton, an international law firm, the Council acts as a strategic platform for dialogue, commercial cooperation, and institutional partnership between Qatari and Baltic companies, entrepreneurs, and public institutions.

Diamond Patronship
Reserved for Founding Members and Distinguished Patrons, the Diamond Patronship status grants full access to all Council capabilities, plus:

The list of Founding Members is already formed. However, Diamond Patronship status may be:
- Conferred by decision of the Director of the Council, or
- Acquired through a negotiated monetary contribution supporting the Council’s development and expansion initiatives.
