To those who still read Livejournal, and even to those who do not, have a Merry Christmas!
I really do need to get back into reading. Can any of you recommend me some excellent books?

Merry Christmas!
Well, yesterday came and went. A bit uneventful, really. KONO claimed he remembered, and if he really did then he was the only online buddy that did.
I finished up Assassin's Creed 2. If not for the fact that every freaking glitch possible in that game were gunning for me as frequently as the guards were, I would have enjoyed it a lot more. Controller malfunctions, texture glitches, loading problems, (running into guards you can't even SEE is not fun) in the last area I even got STUCK hovering in midair over a group of guards who were trying to attack me but only accomplished smacking each other around. Otherwise, it was fun, and the story was interesting.
After that I got a ride with Mei's parents to the mall. I got myself a long-due haircut, and ended up buying a game that a lot of people have been telling me to get so I got it for the sake of shutting them up. Too bad I never saw ONE of those people in particular today, because he's a jerkface.
Started Batman: Arkham Asylum, and from what little I've seen so far, I am highly impressed. And guess what...? NO GLITCHES SO FAR! This time I might get to enjoy a game as much as people tell me I will! It seems like every possible glitch in every game has been hunting me down lately. It sure butchered my gaming in Dragon Age: Origins (though it didn't stop me from playing the fuck out of that game, and enjoying it.) so hopefully it won't touch me in Batman.
Not long after, I got phonecalls from my parents and sisters. I felt like I had more to talk to them about, but I couldn't remember while doing so. I'm a little upset, because I can't seem to get the Christmas gift I bought for my mother clean. I bought this decorative katana rack from the mall, but the previous owner was an idiot who tried using them as real swords (even ending up breaking one that the store had to replace) and got them really dirty. They didn't clean them before returning them to the sheaths, either. Now I've been scrubbing and scrubbing, and one of the blades just won't come clean. I'm also not sure if I should try cleaning the insides of the sheaths or not. I'd imagine that would take water and soap, but since the insides are wood I'm not sure if it's a good idea. Any suggestions?
I had to cut the calls a little short, and pick up Mei while grabbing some groceries. Since it was my birthday, I decided I wanted GOOD meat, and bought some steaks! Bought a strawberry shortcake for the occasion too. Unfortunately, as soon as I got home, I passed out, and never got my meal of champions. D: Oh well, we'll have it today!
In other news, I ended up leaving my legion in Aion. All of my friends had stopped playing the game, leaving me alone with a group that was turning into "leet raiders." I knew it was going to be this way from the start, but I tried playing along for my friends. Since they were gone, the only reason for me to be there was obligation. No matter how much I played the game, if I wasn't best buds with one of the leaders, they weren't going to promote me, and if I played very little people would complain. (I also got pretty sick of them kicking my friends out for being "inactive" according to their standards.) So, I told them it's been fun, and left. Now I can keep playing at my own pace, if I ever get the chance to do so again. Maybe I'll just unsubscribe though. Who knows.
Left 4 Dead 2 is pretty fun, if irritating at times. It's as if they programmed the AIs to be even dumber than they were in the first game. Also, since there's more special infected, the hordes of regular infected seem to be drastically reduced, effectively nerfing the Boomer in Versus play. (Sucks, because the Boomer was already the worst to play...) At least there's no Zombie Genocidest achievement, though it'd be cool if kills in this game contributed to that one from the first. One can dream.

Happy Canadian Turkey Day!
I'm really enjoying Aion, though I haven't been able to dedicate as much time to it as I would like. (What with working in HELL and being comatose the rest of the day.) We play Elyos on the Yustiel server, and the legion we joined has been good so far, if a bit silly at times. The ranks have bolstered quite a bit in less than a week, and I've tried to help out by setting up a shop with a guild message while I'm asleep/at work.
If anyone playing or considering playing is interested, here's a link to our legion's webpage: http://solace.mmoguildsites.com/
The characters I've been playing so far are Sky/15 Gladiator, and Ledain/10 Cleric. I also have 6 other characters rolled and planned for their classes, but if I'm expected to catch up with everyone who's been burning the midnight oil, I'm not going to have time for my altitis.
Anyway, that's all for now. Don't really feel like bitching about work, since it's just going to remind me about how much it sucks...

To me, the movie's ending made alot more sense. When I read the comic, I liked it alot, and then…
Even if…
