We are so blessed to live by so much amazing family. A year ago we had to say goodbye to Tyler for his misson, and tonight we said goodbye to Jared since he is heading up to BYU. As we pulled into our driveway tonight, Jacob said, "Mommy, I'm so sad for Jared to be leaving us!" I love how my kids love their cousins, and I am so thankful for the love and great examples those wonderful cousins give.

Jacob's 4th Birthday!
Cute Jacob is 4! Man alive, time is a crazy thing. A day can seem to stretch on and on, but a year speeds away in a blink of an eye.
This cute boy was so excited to have a friend birthday party! He even picked out his Paw Patrol "kinyata" about 2 months in advance and had it hanging in his room. It lasted through the part pretty darn well and is right back up there in its place of honor.
I kept asking Jacob what games we should plan for his party--water balloons, trampoline fun, etc. All he wanted was to play, so we set up a bunch of different stations of blocks, trains, cars, stickers, and coloring. Two days before his party, he kept talking about wanting a dog to come. Thankfully, we have a sweet man down the street named Gary who was willing to bring his gentle dog Kona. What a treat!
Jacob is so much fun! I love how he puts all his energy into happy smiles, and I love how his eyes almost look like upside down half moons when he does his biggest smiles. He adores his baby brother Joseph and wants to be just like his older brothers and his daddy, who, by the way "is the strongest man in the whole world. He can flip cars." He says such fun things al the time and is constantly making us laugh. Jacob has a clear love for his Savior, and is constantly referring to the things Jesus Christ can do (like beat up bad guys). We just love this precious, kind, genuinely happy, amazing boy!!!!

Joseph Clark Hall
On March 1st, 2017, we were blessed to have a new angel baby added to our family. Pur sweet Joseph baby is so precious and very loved. Laboring with him was long a nd full of anxiety as his heart rate dropped a couple times (it turned out the cord was wrapped around his neck), but once he came all was well. He loves to be snuggled and loved. When he was tiny and new, just feeling my cheek against his would sooth his crying. I love that he has always known me by all touch and smell. We adore this sweet boy!
Girls' Trip and a Reptile Zoo
Rebecca and Mom were able to have a girls' overnighter with Aunt Alison, Eliza, Lydia, Naomi, some of Uncle Jeremy's family, and Grandma and Grandpa. We went to Newport Beach to see Grandma and Grandpa perform in the Millennial Choir and Orchestra concert. It was so incredible! We were completely blown away, and the music and stories shared were very powerful. During Be Still My Soul, a choir of youth dressed as angels suddenly appeared. Rebecca said over and over that she had never felt the Spirit like that before. After the concert, we had fun visiting at the hotel. Today we stopped at Crystal Cove for a bit on the way home. We played jump rope in the sand with seawead and saw dolphins in the ocean!
On the way home we met up with our boys at a reptile museum. Everyone got to hold animals like snakes, geckos, and other lizards. Joseph and a rhinoscerous lizard tried to kiss each other through the glass!

Skipping Ahead...
Yeah, I have fallen way behind! I have been so busy taking care of and having fun with my sweet, big family that I have not been able to keep up. Hopefully I can catch what I missed. But for now we will just have to skip ahead and be current.
