Sledding in Milton

I had never taken the kids sledding. Mostly because I hate the cold. So when Grandma  said she wanted to take the kids sledding I groaned a little then sucked it up, put on our warm clothes and braved the cold. It ended up being like 40 degrees so it wasn't bad at all. 

Grandma Hardman wanted us all to go sledding. So  all the cousins got together at grandma's and went to the hill by the cemetery.

Xander was the first down the hill. He cheered when he got to the bottom.

Avery was being shy and just wanted to sit by Cole. 

Grandpa always makes things a party.

Hiking up the hill is the worst. 

Alex, Chelsea, Serena and Ike. Chelsea had to carry Serena up the hill. They only went down twice because Chelsea didn't want to carry Serena up the hill again. (I only went once with Avery for the same reason)

Cole got snow in his boots and was not a happy camper.

Avery Lu. She loved just sitting and watching. We did go down once and she yelled "wee" the whole way down. When we got to the bottom I asked if she had fun she said "NO"

Let's not forget

Just some memories I don't want to forget thought they are not in chronological order.

 Taking the kids to the Brigham Temple. 

Cole through a fit when they wanted to cover his shoes. I ended up having to carry him into the temple crying. As soon as we got inside though he was great. 

 Being a monster. Cole and Avery also almost jumped into the font. They wanted to go swimming.

 We spent some time at the pond on Garth's land. The kids loves throwing mud clops into the water.

This was Ace's first time hunting. We had been working with him all summer and it was so exciting that he actually retrieved the birds.

 The kids wanted a picture with mommy. 

 Cole LOVES this sparkly shirt I made her for Halloween. 

 Having so much fun on the tramp! It was the source of tons of laughter and tears this summer.

I just love these photo's of the kids playing in the farm with the neighbors.

Gotta Love Projects.

I was wanting to redo this dresser for awhile now. My mom said it was the dresser that was in the hallway of the house she grew up in. 

                                      

 I love the finished product. 

Family Hunting at the blind and more.

Cole LOVED hunting day. He woke up happy. And LOVED watching Dad while sitting on the stairs. 

All of us together making memories. Avery insisted on wearing her beautiful shirt. She was SO super GRUMPY that i finally gave in and let her wear it.

Like I said Avery was SUPER GRUMPY. She refused to wear her snow clothes and sat shivering and crying. She was cold and throwing a tantrum about her snow clothes. FINALLY she let me wrap Wally's coat around her but only if I called it a blanket. When I called it a coat she through a fit. 

One of the few moments she was smiling.

Notice Avery not wearing anything warm. And Cole being so happy to be there. They are my sweet kids forever.

Being a princess is hard work.

Wally has been re-doing Jason and Mandy Gunnell's walls. Cole has LOVED going to their house and playing with the boys. Here he is with them all in Mandy's bed watching a movie. 

Avery has LOVED watching Daddy work.

Charlene asked me to make them a Christmas tree skirt out of their wedding colors. I designed and sewed this up for them.

We fell so coupe up in the winter. So we bundled up and went to the park.

Cole loves to put his hands up like monsters. Everything is monsters or superhero's to this sweet little guy.

I can't keep their shoes on them for anything. It was so cold outside but they didn't care.

Avery chose her own outfit. She loves pretty skirts. I forced the coat on her and pajama pants.

Cole took the tinsel and made a boxing glove. He insisted I take a photo of it.

Avery is getting where she doesn't like napping but every once in a while her tiredness catches up with her. She fell asleep in the pile of blankets.
