Last Night

Well I'm sitting here in my apartment and its the last night I'll ever spend as a college student here in rexburg. Its pretty weird thinking that it is over, i mean i just started didn't i! I do feel like i have grown a lot over the past few years. I've made the best friends I could ever ask for, learned to dance for a crowd, teach with more confidence, never take things for granted, lived with girls that are annoying and girls that became my sisters, and most of all i learned who I am and what i enjoy and dislike. I've loved my time here in rexburg its the coldest, most boring place ever but it is amazing and i just love this bubble.
As i was sitting at the graduation ceremony i just kept thinking will i remember this? will i remember these fun times. I probably wont remember most but i just want to write down that I did love it here and i don't want to forget it! Tonight I got to sit on the front row right in front of the speaker in the new BYUI center and then President Clark and Elder Sybrowsky (the commencement speaker) came into the college of human development and talked again to us. I loved it even though it doesn't feel like i just graduated! it feels like its just a normal night and that i just got back from some church meeting or something! I now have student teaching to look forward too, I'm nervous but i cant wait to see what life has in store for me! I just want to thank everyone that has helped me get through school and has been a friend along the way. And thanks mom and dad for everything you do for me. I love you both and the rest of the family too!

First Day of School

Well today was the first day of school and it started off just like you would think a first day would. I went to class at 9 tried to park but it was full so i had to go to the top of the hill. Then got to my Doctrine and Covenants class and it was packed so I got to sit in the very front. Then I realized my scriptures were still on my desk at home. It was just going great and then we sang one of my least favorite hymns and I could not help but find it funny to add to the great day. But I did get out of class at 9:30 and my second class was canceled so I'm home and its just after 10 am. So that is a plus! But as most of you already know its my last semester and I just cant believe it!!! I will be going back to Arizona to do student teaching and after that i have no no clue what I'm doing with my life!! The thought of having a full time, stable job freaks me out!! So wish me luck and help me plan my life!
Ok recap on last semester! I finished my internship and got an A! It was so much fun and i loved the ladies i worked with! It was a great experience and I feel like i learned so much!! So now its just onto this semester and I'm hoping its easy! I have 3 senior level classed to become a teacher and then 2 religion class so this will be alot better then 19 credits and being PCA pres! I hope its a fun semester and that it will take its time to be over with....

Sew Creative

I am now settled in (unpacked and everything!!) in NEBRASKA! I started work on monday and am working at a quilt shop for my internship. It's been really fun today all I did was cut fabric and fold it back up but I'm really enjoying it! The women are nice and I think it will be fun to work with them. I think it says something when I call and ask for an internship and the owner says yeah I think we can help and I'll pay you too! Also when I left the other day they made sure to tell me to tell them when I leave the store so they can watch me get to my car! Its pretty cold and snowy here but atleast I've been in Idaho long enough to learn how to drive in the snow! And the good thing here is that they keep the roads nice unlike rexburg its just sheets of ice! Two girls that are in my major live here as well so we already have plans to make sure all of us have lives this winter. After this I will go back to school for my last semester in rexburg and then I come back to AZ to do my student teaching. I cant believe time has gone by this fast. I mean if you look back at my posts its probably only a few back where I say I just started school.... thats partly because I've really slacked on blogging but i really dont do that much stuff so nothing really to blog about! Also the past few semesters have been so stressful and time consuming that i really havent had time for much. But i'm done with those classes and now i just have my senior level ones and religion to complete! I hope I can get past this weather and next semester and then its student teaching! I'm sure then I will have lots of blogs to post about...

It has been a very long time

Ok i've been slacking on the blog department! i cheak it all the time to see if anyone else updates but i never find anything to update about. so i'm going to try to make my life sound interesting!
So 2 weeks ago me and a friend drive all the way from rexburg to safford in one day and then went to the temple open house the next day we drove all the way back! it was 3000 miles in one weekend!! but it was worth it! it was great to see the temple and be back home!
Last weekend i went to boise for a wedding i have never been over there and i was surprised to see that it was actually a city, well sort of haha. but it was fun to be there and to see their temple it looks alot different but i am sure glad that this weekend i get to stay here!

Well i guess i should tell you whats happening this semester at school since i havent talked to everyone! well this semester i am taking 18 credits. Clothing construction, special education, food science, old testament, woman's health, and textiles. they are all pretty interesting classes but take up time. i just finished my first project for sewing it was a pillow and now we are moving on to pj pants! also this semester i am v.p. of the polynesian cultural association and 2nd counselor in the relief society. needless to say i have alot going on!!
This semester i am also living with 3 of my old roommates Katie, Samantha, and Kayci. i love these girls!!! i'm so glad i was able to live with them again! I think this semester is going to be a great and i'm looking forward to see whats going to happen!
