A content curation system, not just a feed reader
When you get hundreds of articles, finding the few that matter is hard
Following tens, or hundreds, of sources ensures you see the best articles. But it needs time to sort out irrelevant ones.
Lighthouse speeds up the review, so you can subscribe to hundreds of sources without getting overwhelmed.

Workflow
How Lighthouse works:
You subscribe to sources, which can be RSS feeds and newsletters. If you tag them, all articles they publish get the same tags.
New articles are put in the inbox. There you review to either bookmark or dismiss them. This yes/no decision can be done very quickly.
Bookmarked articles are moved to the library. This is the place for reading. And when you're done, archive them.
The archive includes dismissed and archived items. Dismissed articles are kept so you can filter freely, without worry of losing access. But they're shown separately to not bury the more valuable archived ones.
Manually added articles, either in the web app or via a browser extension, are put directly in the library.
Review
Inbox zero, for articles.
The inbox separates new articles from already reviewed ones, and acts as a review step. Since yes/no decisions are fast, it's easy to get to inbox zero. It ensures you've seen the latest articles and can always prioritize the best ones.

About sentence
One sentence to stop clickbait.
Every article is summarized and a one-sentence description is displayed below the title. When the title is unclear, this description makes it easier to judge if the article is interesting.
The summary and Ask AI can give even more information.

Rules
Automated curation.
Because it's incredibly difficult to know where exactly the line is between interesting and not interesting, Lighthouse does a lot to make manual curation faster.
But it still offers a powerful rule system to automate curation where feasible.

Bookmark ratio
Data-driven source cleanup.
Even if the review process is fast, low-value sources still create unnecessary work. Lighthouse shows the ratio of bookmarked vs dismissed items, making it easy to find them and unsubscribe.
This also makes extensive review before subscribing unnecessary. Instead, just subscribe and check later if the blog publishes enough interesting articles compared to non-interesting ones.
