Discussing future career options after coil asked me why people wear glasses and where your tongue starts, I suggested he be a doctor. He very matter of factly told me that he doesn't want to be "the surgery kind because if I mess up, I could make someone dead."

First lost tooth!!!

Lily has waited so patiently to lose her first tooth and today, it finally happened. It was really loose, but was being stubborn, and finally it came out when she hit it with her Nintendo ds. I'm so excited for her, but this is another important milestone that reminds me how fast time flies!

My babies

Lily really blew me away today:

1. Instead of her normal whining about dinner, she very calmly and logically told me shed prefer to eat at one restaurant vs another and accepted with grace that we didn't pick her choice

2. I asked her if she wanted a piece of bread and a peg doll for Xmas and her answer was: "well I would be grateful for them"

3. Lily is cuddled in bed with her brother right now, reading to him

Colin has made me giggle today by:

1. Visiting my sisters new house, he told me "she has a garden inside her house! I will look so cute in there!"

2. Telling Santa that he wants an iPad with angry birds for Xmas

Dentist!

Colin's first dentist appointment! Both kids did fantastic! We got to see lily's 6 year molars starting to poke through and a permanent front tooth is poking up on her bottom gum that we are hoping will dislodge the baby tooth in front. Colin did great, he was nice and courteous and brave, I was honestly shocked
