Participants portray fictional or real characters on a sinking ship and argue why they deserve to be saved. The most creative, witty, and convincing speaker wins the lifeboat spot. Shipwreck rules: This is an individual event. It will be conducted in two rounds. First round - regular 1v1 shipwreck. Second round - will be announced on spot. Characters will be announced on spot. After the announcement of the characters, participants will have two minutes to prepare. Top 10-12 members will be selected for the second round. Any form of vulgarity will not be encouraged and will lead to immediate disqualification. Judge's call is final and binding. Get ready for an exciting challenge!

Participants present opposing viewpoints on a specific topic, aiming to persuade an audience or judges. It involves structured arguments, rebuttals, and counterarguments, fostering critical thinking and effective communication skills. RULES: Team of 2 participants, participants must be from the same college. Topic will be given prior to the start of the event. Vulgarity will lead to immediate disqualification. Insensitive reference to any caste/community/individual/ genders is strictly prohibited. Judge’s rules and decisions are final and binding. DEBATE ROUNDS: Round 1: Classic debate. Round 2: Will be based on judges decision on the day of the event. Get ready for an exciting challenge!
