Global Branches is a Portuguese group that believes in the important role that Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) have to play in the health system of the future. Global Branches arose as a team from the passion of organizing the first world congress of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Portugal, in 2019, but our love to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) started earlier, when each one of us started their TCM degree about a decade ago. Our mission is to promote reliable information and literacy about CAM around the world. That goes from promoting or holding conferences, to supporting and promoting scientific projects or researches, or even training practitioners through seminars or theoretical and practical sessions. Global Branches believes that by promoting debates and sharing knowledge and experiences, we also foster the growth and progress of our community.
