Basketball NSW (BNSW) is once again hosting the Talented Athlete Program (TAP) in 2024. The aim of TAP is a single camp-based program that aims to expose selected athletes to the NSW/Australian Style of Play and concepts of play on the court. Off the court, athletes are exposed to various topics such as: Athlete Coping Skills, Social Networks, Self-Regulation, Mental Toughness and Injury Prevention as the camp aims to be a holistic learning opportunity to the athletes to set them up with not only pre-elite athlete skills, but skills for life. Expressions of Interest (EOI) to Coach at TAP are open. It is open to any Coach who is currently a registered member of BNSW, accredited NSW Coach, and with a valid Working with Children Check. Attending TAP trials is essential for coaches to attend TAP Camp later in 2024.
