The English Literary Association (ELA) is a society that hosts the activities of the English department. It consists of student and faculty members, with three posts: President, Secretary, Treasurer, and a Seminar-In-charge. The society hosts various activities, including workshops, national and international seminars, conferences, and field trips. It hosts the annual Literary Festival under the banner Calypso and has established international alliances with institutions like Ashoka University and Virginia Tech. The ELA also has a Special Lecture Series to promote interdisciplinarity and knowledge resource sharing. The society also maintains an active social media presence.
