El "Reto U" es una alianza estratégica entre los Clubes de Rotary y Rotaract de Venezuela, Alianza Social de VenAmCham y la Fundación Mercantil. Su propósito es promover la Responsabilidad Social en el ámbito universitario mediante la formulación de proyectos sociales innovadores.

El objetivo principal es que cada estudiante formule, de manera individual, un proyecto destinado a atender una necesidad real de una comunidad. Estas iniciativas deben estar alineadas con los 17 Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) de la ONU para combatir la pobreza, la desigualdad y el cambio climático
