I started playing guitar at the age of 9 at the Psalmodia music school in Oron-la-Ville. I spent three years there learning pop, folk and the basics of improvisation.
In 2016, I started playing blues with two guitarist friends, forming the band Black Paradise in 2017, with the addition of a drummer. We composed a large number of songs until 2019, before parting ways with the drummer.
My two guitarist friends stayed on, and I switched to drums and vocals for the new band ‘Punchy Parasites’.
During my years in the band, I had the opportunity to learn to sing, play bass (with three guitars, we should be able to adapt...) and, above all, compose.
I started the Pre-HEM programme at the Lausanne Jazz School (EJMA) in 2023 before enrolling in a bachelor's degree in jazz guitar at the Lausanne University of Music (HEMU) in 2025.
I compose, record, produce and play jazz tracks under the name ‘Ryslo’ on all streaming platforms.
