I am updating my review of 2 years ago: My now almost 5 year old Havanese (and my daughter's 5 year old Havanese) have continued going to Shanthi's since they were pups. They go at least once a week, because they love Shanthi so much, and enjoy their time at school. She continues to work with them on their tricks and they have passed the AKC Advanced Tricks. Shanthi is SO good with all the dogs and I can't recommend her facility highly enough. --------- I have a 2 year old Havanese, as does my daughter. We have been taking them to Shanthi for the past 7 or so months. They LOVE going to school there, and have from the first day we went. Pinto didn't want to leave, but wanted to show me everything in the classroom. They pull on their leashes to get to Shanthi in the mornings. They tend not to like day care settings with lots of dog, so this is perfect for them - usually about 8 dogs total, and the best part is that Shanthi does all sorts of learning games with them. They come home stimulated, but also tired! Can't say enough good things about Shanthi, Amanda (the other teacher) and the school.

I don't know where we would be without this place or these people but luckily I don't have to think about it! Rachel, Shanthi, Donovan, Amber, Ashe... Kind, passionate and so helpful! If you want help training your dogs, go to NWA School for Dogs. I am not a person who leaves reviews but for this place? I could write a whole book of wonderful things! Our relationship with our pupper has improved so much because of the help they provided. Honestly, I think I needed more training and coaching than our dog and I feel more confident and at ease then when we first started.
