Serrah Galos's “Lost Dreams, New Dreams” Exhibition Review
“Lost Dreams, New Dreams” is an ongoing storytelling project by Serrah Galos about the lives of teen mothers in Rwanda. Its first exhibition at L’Institut Français in Kigali shared personal stories through photos and audio. The project is artist-led and works with different partners to point out the challenges and strengths of these young women. No photos were allowed at the exhibition to protect privacy, but the experience left a lasting impression. Here's more of my thoughts on the creative process:
