Utøpia is a Swiss-Portuguese DJ based in Lausanne. Inspired by the raw energy of Berlin and Eastern Europe, Utøpia delivers powerful sets that blend groovy, minimal, and driving techno with underground house, between 130–150 BPM.

DJ resident and curator at Club Paillettes, Lowz Frequency and Voltage Rumble, Utøpia has performed across Switzerland and beyond — from illegal raves and private parties to venues like ABC Club, Bleu Lézard, Folklor, Le Romandie, Vinyl Club, Voiid Club (Lausanne), Rocking Chair Club (Vevey), Mythic Club (Fribourg), and Sekta Selecta (Kraków, Poland).

Beyond the dancefloor, Utøpia sees the party as a political act – bringing people together in inclusives spaces where everyone is welcome, regardless of background, gender, race, or sexual orientation, through community-driven and participatory projects.

Utøpia est un DJ suisse-portugais basé à Lausanne. Inspiré par l’énergie brute de Berlin et de l’Europe de l’Est, il envoie des sets rapides et intenses, mêlant techno groovy, minimale et percutante, teintée d’underground house — entre 130 et 150 BPM.

DJ résident et organisateur de soirée au sein des collectifs Club Paillettes, Lowz Frequency et Voltage Rumble, Utøpia a fait vibrer les dancefloors à travers la Suisse et au-delà — des raves illégales et soirées privées jusqu’aux clubs emblématiques comme ABC, Bleu Lézard, Folklor, Le Romandie, Vinyl Club, Voiid Club (Lausanne), Rocking Chair (Vevey), Mythic (Fribourg) ou encore Sekta Selecta (Cracovie, Pologne).

Au-delà du dancefloor, Utøpia considère la fête comme un acte politique – un moyen de rassembler les gens dans des espaces inclusifs où tout le monde est le·la bienvenu·e, quels que soient son origine, son genre, sa race ou son orientation sexuelle, à travers des projets portés par la communauté et participatifs.
