SquirrelMail Issues

I'm attempting to configure an RedHat Enterprise Linux system here and I've run into the following snag.

I have my SMTP and IMAP servers running. I would like to setup webmail services using SquirrelMail.

Apache is configured correctly (e.g. /webmail is aliased to /usr/share/squirrelmail) and I can access the page and login just fine. I'm using PostFix as my SMTP server, it is setup to deliver mail qmail-style to the /home/username directories into a folder called Maildir/. Maildir/ contains cur/, new/, and tmp/. Mail is delivered to these directories just fine. SquirrelMail does not read the mail at all (as in, the INBOX reads as being empty when I log in).

SquirrelMail seems to send mail fine via its "Compose" interface (and the mail is saved correctly in the "SENT" folder). However, services such as HotMail label all of the e-mail sent via this interface as spam. Why is this?

Help would be much appreciated, Thanks in advance!
